1. I really haven't gotten the chance to explore yet but are the devs of popular mining software getting a head start on the new algo and have already released or are in the process of releasing appropriate versions in time for the HF?

2. Also, wouldn't the network be in a vulnerable state since there will be a "theoretical" (though not actual) zero network hash rate at some instance during the transition since not every miner will be switching to the new PoW at the same time; more like gradually ramping up towards whatever the highest network hash rate will be?

[1] The PoW tweak is already finalized (and merged). As a result, the mining software devs were able to start working on the new version of their miners.

[2] See: https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/86iux3/question_regarding_the_network_strength_on_the/

Bitcoin Gold, Monero Gold, what's next, Litecoin Gold? Beyond ridiculous. Makes projects like Monero seem ever the more precious.

Monero Community Announcement: Vote for (XMR) to be the top coin paired with DASH on CryptalDash.com Exchange.

Monero has been featured in the DASH Market Competition, this is your chance to grow the market cap and liquidity pool of Monero.

Support your coin by voting now, voting ends in 11 days. (MOnero is currently in last place with 0 votes)

https://www.cryptaldash.com/dash-market

Thats because no-one cares about a dash market nor will we be bothered to sign up to vote for it.

sorry that I'm interfering in the conversation about Monero. Tell me what are the chances of anonymous crypto currency Deeponion to become a serious competitor to Monero?
I think that anonymity will be in gold this year

Shill that shitcoin in this thread once more and you'll get more neg trust.

sorry that I'm interfering in the conversation about Monero. Tell me what are the chances of anonymous crypto currency Deeponion to become a serious competitor to Monero?
I think that anonymity will be worth its weight in gold this year

Then you answered your own question.

DO is not anon, Monero is Anon by design up
Exactly. I don't know why everybody thinks deeponion is anonymous.

For those who don't know, deeponion is a regular crypto that funnels all it's traffic through Tor. You can do that with any crypto (including BTC, XMR, and LTC) so I don't even know why people still use/hype/buy it (other than because of the well done advertising campaigns).

Because they are shills or morons neither of which need to be spamming this thread. And Legendary's doing need to get their trust painted Red. BTW that account had Email just changed so it could be bought.

is monero V hard fork fake?

Fake how? It's easy to fork an open source project. They will almost certainly do the fork and moneroV will be a real thing that exists. Is it a complete and total scam cash grab? Also yes. It is very unlikely that their devs will legitimately innovate, and produce their own novel code and make a thriving healthy project.

Yeah its some kind of bullshit.

You might gain a £1 but in doing so lose £10,000 by undermining the coin you have believed in.

Hello everyone I want to share why I was attracted to the cryptocurrency Montero. All transactions were faster than in the Bitcoin network. The commissions were relatively small. That is, it was possible to buy quite quickly, and then also quickly sell coins on the stock exchange, if necessary. Without this component it is impossible normal earnings for me.

Do you mean Monero? I seem to remember a shitcoin named Montero a year or 2 ago but after googleing it I can't find it and it looks like this is a common misspelling of MONERO. I wonder is there is a language that people associated montero with money and that is the reason? AFA the commisions being small, what are you talking about?

#2 The new software is backwards compatible, so you can run it as soon as its released, it may/will/probably take longer than 2 minutes to find a block after the switch due to a lower hashrate but the network will adjust itself after a certain amount of time
 (my 2 cents)  Roll Eyes

Thanks!
