So much WTF here I can't even. NSA/DOD/DEA butthurt over Monero? Is it True? ® Transcript:
---------------------------------------------------------------
MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Additional resource request for ACC project
1. 2nd Battalion's joint NSA/CPT anonymous cryptocurrency project needs additional support in the form of new hires and additional funding to meet GWOT and drug interdiction objectives outlined in July's Command update brief. • Requesting authorization to add additional civilian consultants to the ACC project and to initiate their SCI investigations • Requesting additional funds for class 7 and 9, amounts indicated in attached cost analysis worksheet.
2. The success we have had with Tor, I2P, and VPN cannot be replicated with those currencies that do not rely on nodes. There is a growing trend in the employment of Stealth address and ring signatures that will require additional R&D. Please reference the weekly SITREP ON SIPR for more details regarding the TTPs involved.
3. BLUF: In order to put the CPT back on track, we need to identify and employ additional personnel who are familiar with the CryptoNote code available for use in anonymous currencies.
4. Include this request for discussion at the next training meeting.
If genuine, I wonder how much taxpayer money these Deep State parasites are requesting to waste for their Great War On Technology. Also, who the fuck names an excel spreadsheet "Hazardous Attitude?" It would have been nice to get this attention in any other context. FluffyPony has kicked the hornet's nest, and the swarm is headed towards us. Julian Assange, please call your office....

It's probably fake, but if not, it's interesting that they don't seem panicked about the vaunted zk-SNARKs ...

Nobody knows, quantum computing breaking cryptonight is least of our worries, if that happens anything we've encrypted with conventional algorithms will be broken and whole hell is break lose, bitcoin will fail, ssl will fail, everything will become plain text.

It's probably fake, but if not, it's interesting that they don't seem panicked about the vaunted zk-SNARKs ... The real question is why the NatSec community isn't in a panic over Dash's revolutionary PrivateSend feature.

NONE are and BTC will be the first to fall, not even Suite B cryptography is! The worlds cryptographers are working on new types as we speak. One promising method is polynomial cryptography. That is refereed to as Multivariate cryptography.

Do you have any kind of guide for VPN ? Is it possible to route that connection through a VPN?
It is just a regular TCP connection. You can route over VPN or Tor or whatever. There is no specific guide, just do it the same way you would for any other application. In the case of Tor using a torified virtual machine is one generally safe(r) way to do it.

--block-sync-size 20 now default. Awesome for sometimes limited connection, like mine! ADD: Sync is going much faster than 10.3.1 CPU churning @100%, which isn't uncommon for my poor little machine. Doing more work faster seems to be more work, for some reason. Edit: /s

I succesfuly sent 18 million XMR today This is a known bug if you are using a relatively old wallet cache. How do I fix it? EDIT: Attempting this https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/3122/how-do-i-delete-the-wallet-cache/3123Thought it worked, but submitting 2 tx files I had results in http://prntscr.com/gilzboAnd the other one Can't submit transaction: transaction <5ebbe59977bfadd50669a7349c98c1bfb3310f0e615acc1c11e6a4d5429d0f60> was rejected by daemon with status: Failed. Reason: double spend
