Notice for HashHarder MinersHi, Just letting everyone know that we had an issue that was delaying payouts last night. We fixed it this morning at around 10am, so payouts should have been made now, and will continue to be made on a normal basis from now on. Apologies for the delays on the payments from around 7pm on the 3rd to 10am on the 4th UK time. These delays only affected MON payouts. VTC payouts have operated as expected. http://www.hashharder.com/scrypt-n/vertcoin%20mergedHelp grow out pool

Hashharder seems to have resolved their payment problems, I've received my backlog of MON from them now, and just saw a new payment go to "in batch" and received it almost right afterwards in my wallet.
Would have been nice to have a history of payments in addition to the "scheduled payments" there though.
PM me your address, and I'll send you the breakdown

Can I mine MON without mining VTC ?
Why would you do that? You can merge mine and then throw away the VTC. Same result, right?

I'd get more MON for my hashrate, I have enough VTC. (Which isnt really profitable to mine at the moment anyway)

Seeing so many of these "not receiving payments in 24 hours for hasharder" posts. You guys should have just stuck it out with P2Pool. -_- It was pretty much built and intended for that. There are tons of p2pools out. www.P2Proxy.net is running well now. go to www.P2Proxy.net/backlog for stats Been mining for about 24 hours with 1.3 MH and got 5 VTC / 12 MON Seems to be running fine for me as well....settings -q 0 -s 9 -e 10 add 1 to scantime and expiry for every 100 ms beyond 0.......should help with rejects slightly. "settings -q 0 -s 9 -e 10 " please send your full settings, I still have rejects

Boris, what's wrong with stratum+tcp://p2pool.vtcpool.co.uk:9555 performance/fees?
For me payouts are only 65% of VTC, compared to what I get at usual Vertcoin pool.
I collected such results from 5Mh pointed to your node for 17 hours, ping time is 50ms, rejected shares percentage is 3%. And CGWatcher reports same total Hashrate.

Encourage you guys to merged mine at p2pool nodes. There are so many supported nodes and updated information.
We need to strengthen the p2pool for VTC and MON.
+1 Vert p2p is time tested...be patient...give it 24 hours to account for variance. Ping each node to see which is closest to minimize latency and have at it. Diggin the MON... No need to ping anymore. Use combined scanner which automatically sorted by latency. http://coin.cubeconnex.com/poollist/Take note that "Merged mine" is not accurately display all merged mining enabled nodes. Open scanner and see the fronpage of it see whether node operators announced the merged mining. Well for me it seems, the "scanner" is doing a nice guess, nothing more, sorry. If i'm using the "scanner" it will find my own p2pool with a latency of over 350+ msec and my p2pool is in the basement...

If i'm using the "scanner" it will find my own p2pool with a latency of over 350+ msec and my p2pool is in the basement... It is not a guess. It sends a packet in real time to each target node from the user's PC and time how long it takes for the response to come back. It depends not just on the PC-to-node internet speed but also whether the user PC is under heavy CPU and network load. If, for example, one is mining on his PC at the same time use that PC (or another PC on the same LAN) for finding nodes, the scanner's result will be erratic. In your case, the packet is sent out to your Internet Service Provider's router and then come back into your home's node. The round trip is via external and not within the home's LAN. EDIT: Check that your CPU and Internet bandwidth are not heavily use. This will give better result.

Ah, well, it does make sense to force people to mine VTC with MON and not make it opt-in in order to strengthen VTC blockchain.
