Where is everybody? It's like a ghost town in here.

I'm still around, had a busy weekend.

The bot seems to be continually backing off hash-rate when others aren't human mining. Human mining just keeps getting a little easier each day.

Seems like there is a golden opportunity for someone to introduce a second bot and give it some competition.

Is there someone developing a new bot?

EDIT: no nodes for syncing?

I'm sure I can't be the only one working on it.

You should be able to peer with the block explorer node, at least.  If you addnode onetry it, what does your debug.log show for it?

Is there someone developing a new bot?

I'm sure I can't be the only one working on it.

Can you please release a really bad buggy version so others can try? Smiley

Awesome thanks! I want to play around with the setting and see if I can make it really good. (Very very VERY unlikely. But worth a try) Smiley

What kind of tradebot now working on C-Cex MOTO/BTC ?

It move orders up and down on the both sides of the "cup"(don't know right word both tables).. maybe it try to catch gap profit... Undecided

The tradings volume is amazing low!! we need to do the Piar Action).. I want a big boom.. how we can attract the attention?

EDIT: The "edges" of tradingbot is close to 480 buy and 499 to sell.. O!!! Or maybe he automatic count the levels)

We could do some sort of giveaway maybe. That always booms the price. For a cost that is.

every programmer who is able to write a program with requests to a server can write a bot. It is much more difficult to find an optimal algorithm

I quite agree with you.. I tried to trading on forex with EUR/USD GBP/USD some other pairs.. lost several deposites, readed books, browsing forums, browsing blogs, lost some another deposites), listen webinars, visited some seminars.. The trading is very tricky.. I'am interesting in that.. But i can't find the "ultimate" trading technology)).. There is likely to need some kind of intuition and instict..  I tried to dump MOTO several weeks ago (I want to buy cheap).. afterwards I have to buy more expensive than it was.. When we take the path-patch The price HIT only 5% of my sell orders.. and now I'm very dissapointed about it.. cause I was really ready to sell them all).. at ~4600 satoshi.. Now i want to buy.. but noone want to sell.. maybe there are will be some pump in close days.. small or maybe not (the resistance will catch at ~2200 maybe early as sellers will arrive at 1500 with big unsold volumes)

It is not a perfect tactic) I can "post" the orders and move the bot prices..

Yes, I'm told that it can be hard to tell when I am not serious because I usually am very much so.

My comment was, indeed, intended to be a little bit sarcastic.

The subject of algorithmic trading is something I have been interested in for a very long time.  It is so fascinating particularly because, unlike most other machine learning problems, it is continually a moving target.  There is never a "best algorithm" or "right answer" for the market.  (By some theory, if you were to find one the very act of trying to capitalize on it would cause the model to begin to invalidate itself.)

I think anyone on the merchant/exchange side of things is likely still waiting to see a definite resolution to our hash-rate concerns.  Right now, I don't think anyone would argue that we've reached one.  (Although I don't think anyone would argue that we're not, at least, much better off now.)

We need more hash-rate and certainly need much more distributed hash-rate.  (A public bot would be ideal.)

We need some mining "process" clean-ups.  (Map filters, and other "cyborg" mining tools.)

We may need to reconsider our block confirmation times, relative to anti-warp parameters.  (Regular tx confirms should take a bit longer and anti-warp interval should be a bit shorter.  I think coin maturation time is probably just about right, regardless.)

If anyone who is on the merchant/exchange side of things would like to chime in on the matter I'd be very interested to hear their take on the current situation, and what they feel should be prioritized in terms of working to make adoption more realistically possible.
