Also check you have installed needed dev libs
Thats fine. All libs are "newest"

Problem was this:
CFLAGS="-o2 -Wall -march=native" ./configure

sudo ./configure WORKS!

Looks like passing CFLAGS parameter ruins everything. Removes aliases to gcc propably (?)

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

Hey, Mich, if this help any i had to replace BFG 5.1.0 with 4.3.1 to get it to show the right numbers, only reason i didn't leave 4.3.1 in the custom folder was so i could use  logging and the new  network support.

This screen shot is with 4.3.1 replacing bfg 5.1.0 as the main BFG .I  posted it to help out how BFG should work but better at 5.1.0 . 5.1.0 started acting up again and posting very high hardware errors and getting stuck at one speed but on the miner site it showed the right speeds etc. I'm not really sure if that is minera or BFG sense 4.3.1 works but has no mining.set_extranonce extension  support which is one of my main reason for using BFG and other things as luke calls it, its a all around good miner .Smiley .Me adding mining.set_extranonce extension to 4.3.1 is beyond my coding skills I'm sure it is poss , if some one were to post a how to i  would pick it up and do it no mater how the how to is written. .

So even with running Minera 0.5 the BFL Monarch's dont work out of the box

With the latest cgminer they run fine out no adjustments or special syntax needed

Any way I can get this to work with the Monarch?

I can't understand you, you said with Minera 0.5.0 it doesn't work out of the box, then you said with latest cgminer it works, what do you mean?
Minera has latest Cgminer with BFL support and Bfgminer should work too.
Can you explain please? Can you give us some info about your setup? Did you look at logs?

@toptekk thank you very much for the info, I'm still waiting my Thunder X6 to do a lot of test, hope to start them next week.

Sorry I mean when I run the latest cgminer (Windows) it automatically detects the BFL Monarch - running a normal .bat file which just has the pool details.

When I run minera (running cgminer) with the BFL Monarch plugged in it does not detect any devices. Are there any special adjustments I need to make?

Did you try to enable the superuser mode? Can you look at your log and/or try to launch cgminer manually in a terminal window? I think that will give you the exact problem.

Hello

Update looks great but I havent been able to get it to work yet. I am running 2 asicminer tubes, they were/currently are running fine on 4.1. I tried updating to 5.0 and just using cgminer and bfgminer but neither of those worked. I then compiled cgminer using this

Code:
cd /tmp
git clone https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer
cd cgminer
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-blockerupter
make
sudo make install
cp cgminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/

But that did not work either. It says no devices found, is there something I am not doing or doing wrong?

Ok, so I am still not getting it to read my tubes, everything else is working but it wont find the tubes....what am I doing wrong?

I have some Gridseed 5 Chip and Blades mixed on one controller they work fine you are able to define specific clock freq per chip my advice is hook up the 5 chip ones first do the auto tune option. Then Copy that config file and paste it into the section for additional configuration options then plug in your other miners the Blade's don't work with the autotune function i found that 833mhz works well for the 40 chip Blades with minimal HW errors. My 2 Setups run for weeks on end without needing any hands on to reboot them

tip for anyone that likes to use logging and the network add on but wants to use your own fork you can still . just CP over your BFG or Cg  miner's fork by using this command, it works every time for for me.

use a SSH client log on your PI then do below :

Put your custom fork in the custom folder under

 /var/www/minera/minera-bin/custom

then after you have it the custom folder use

cd /var/www/minera/minera-bin/custom

then use this CL to copy to either BFG or CG depends which miners fork it is.

BFG
sudo cp (your forks name) /var/www/minera/minera-bin/bfgminer

CGMINER
sudo cp (your forks name) /var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminer

if after you copy it over and it did compile right but does not work use http://winscp.net/eng/index.php?#utm_source=winscp&utm_medium=app&utm_campaign=5.7.2

go to this folders

 /var/www/minera/minera-bin

then right click on either bfgminer or cgminer which ever one you copied to, under properties,

see if this line 0755 is in the

octal box

if it's not put it there .
save and restart or reboot the PI or miner .

if it all goes right you should now have access to the guided set up part that lets you turn on and use logging and  network part for that miner in the Minera UI .

hope this helps some who want to use there own fork with everything else being use able till its added .

Last try is looking what the miner is doing while tries to start, so get a terminal window in Minera and try launch this command:

Code:
/var/www/minera/minera-bin/cgminer -c /var/www/minera/conf/miner_conf.json

(stop any running miners)

If you are still getting "No devices found", try to run:

Code:
lsusb

And give us the output

He may need to add some thing in the extra option , which i can't help him with . those thing set up strange .from what Ive used . Zeusminer  antminer are pretty easy to set up.

tubes have there own prox  etc if I'm  not mistaken on top of the controllers you can use with them . i had one once never got it working it right , but it was one of the 30 GH ones way back when .

Also make sure you have the right pool info Ive  seen some miners not log in or even work with the pool info wrong, even if it says it's correct .

make sure your asicminer tubes software is set up right . that blue screen behind your miners IP.

OFC I'm guessing at this point

***Only the below pools work directly with Tubes due to a current error in the firmware. Other pools will require the use of a proxy (see next section).***

GHash IO Register!
Code:
Servers : us1.ghash.io   with port 3333
User    : username.worker  - auto creates workers!
Password: anypassword
Slush Register!
Code:
Servers : stratum.bitcoin.cz   with port 3333

BTCGuild Register!
Code:

Bitcoin Digger Register!
Code:

User    : username.worker  - auto creates workers!

and this in the extra options all i could find

--set-device PXY:diff=512  use BFGMINER with that setting i think

not sure if that has anything to do with your problem and driver not  loading in  minera .

ok guys i m having trouble with minera 5 after recent changes:

My setup
Rpi
SD card (to boot Rpi only)
USB drive (for Wheezy + Minera)
USB hub (with Gridseed orbit + GAW furys)

after recent installation with above setup my usb hub is not getting detected and in result Minera shows no devices attached. however it detects network miners but not the local miners; no matter whatever setting (pre-configuered) and the binary i choose no local devices could be found

any advise?

EDIT: following is connected with the RPi output via "lsusb"
