A few days ago, my Minera box just started freezing randomly several times per day. No config changes, running less than 10 Gridseeds.

Updated to the latest version, still the same thing. It just stops responding to ping, HTTP or SSH. The log files do not show anything, just shares being accepted until it freezes. Have to cut the power to reboot it.
Anyone experience anything similar?

Nah man, mine have been running great.  I have 160 Gridseeds, 16 sets of 10.  I have 10 sets, so a 100 seeds running from my home office and the other 6 sets running from another location which I remote access from my home office.  Have been running Minera on them all for a few weeks with no mining issues at all.

mine did the same thing. i couldnt get it to stay stable. i just disconnected the Minera's and run the miners off a netbook. the Minera had issues with gridseeds and the other one had issues with the zeus. it just started acting up after the last update. i just have no patience to sit on top of it and mother it.

Hello guys,
it's "Ferragosto" here in Italy, vacation day to enjoy the summer all together and to play with water balloons Smiley

And where is the new Minera release? It's coming, I swear. There will be really good enhancements and finally we will be able to save and load all the miner config we want, you could take "snapshots" of current config and restore them with a click, but also clone the complete settings and restore it into a new Minera, and much more.

I hope to release it next week, meanwhile enjoy your summer and have a great weekend!

PS for who asked, yes Rockminer is supported, try to use BFGminer (probably with -S rockminer:all NOT TESTED).

Heya, michelem.

Don't know if you or anybody else knows. Minera calculate HW percentages wrong.

By calculator.
HW Error / AC * 100 = The correct percentage.

Minera
Dunno how minera calculates hw percentages but its wrong.

Minera shows 8.07% but indeed the correct percentage is 8.84%.

I think you are wrong cause you should sum each share like this:

Hw/hw+ac+re *100

That makes no sense.

hw divided by hw + ac + re *100 = 230000

hw divided by hw + ac + re *100 = 230000

I'm bored, did you ever study math? I mean the basis.

Hw / (hw+ac+re) * 100

202/(202+2283+17)*100

Hope you understood it. Total shares can be ac, hw, re so the percentage is based on the sum of those.

I'm so lame.

I've installed on raspberry pi.
Login fine.

now what?
startx just gives me a blank raspberry pi desktop.  How I do I bring up the Minera interface?

Well I'm logged in as minera@minera
when I type "ip"/minera I get no such file or directory.

Yes, I'm typing the ip in digits.  Wink

There's really a tutorial gap here for noobs.
Isn't there just a command that brings up the interface?

https://github.com/dmaxl/cgminer/

Scroll down to the Zeus, Device Selection, and Device Identification sections (they're all in a row), tells you how to identify each unit seperately and set settings per device.

If my advice has helped you out, feel free to throw some Satoshi's my way!

Okay. I've tried (might I add unsuccessfully) to install Minera on my Pi. I have minera installed on the Pi, its all working then I plug my miners in (I have tried, having them start before the Pi, and plugged in, off + plugged in then powered on, Miners on and running then plugged in, etc) Imagine every way possible of connecting the miners to the Pi and nothing works! I constantly get this,
http://puu.sh/aUtBF/74297caae5.png

Endless loop. And minerd not running. I have 3 GAW Fury's hooked up and a Gridseed Blade. I really need these to work, as they are sitting here collecting dust.

Any/All Help is greatly appreciated!
