Is it profitable and efficient (at least in terms of electricity bills) with merge mining feature? Thanks all, I have nerver mined the coin before knowing the topic by chance.
It might be likely not profitable, not efficient with merge mining approach. Usually, it takes more energy, then emits more hot temperature, and of course reduce the life-expectancy of your graphic cards. Please, take care and good luck with your choices.

Why is Fantomcoin not getting the attention it deserves ..... mystery, FCN has all the features of XMR at a fraction of the price.

I wonder any word from open source pool developers? difficulty is just right for any kind of mining, but more popularity means more people and higher exchange rate Sad

Whats up with Fantom coin doing more than 600% in the past two days? Its actually sitting as the highest 7days earner for this week. Any news about the coin? I checked the website and could only find news from August 2014. No Telegram discussion group or channel to follow up and communicate with the community members. I can only see people talk about it on Minergate trollbox and nothing spectacular for this increase amidst the crypto bear market. I hope this is not some pump and dump scheme that will make people lose money again

Can someone contact the developers and see if they can resurrect this coin to merge mine with Electroneum?
1.77 million accounts and growing it could piggyback on the mass adoption of ETN
I know of some pool owners that might be interested in helping them test to get it up and running.

Investment risks are high, as well as possible profits, in view of the cheapness of the Fantomcoin asset. I think that 2018 will be a turning point for Fantomcoin.

Hello,

I want to see how many people are interested in continuing the FCN coin.

There are still some daemons running and a network hashrate of 7MH/s.  Minercountry is currently providing as merged mining pool with sumo coin at https://sumo.minercountry.com/ .

We will need to grow a strong community before we can start to look at the pre-requisites for listing on an exchange.

Will you join us?
