no only minergate
skybot
not exit
the only miner for fantomcoin
is the file
fantomcoind
for start
./fantomcoind
for mining
start_mining "address" "core/thread"
there are no other miner seen that all the usual miner
are for pool and
there are no other pool
over minergate
minergate uses its own miner

minerc --node1=127.0.0.1:8081 --node2=127.0.0.1:24081 --wallet1=%your BCN/MRO/QCN address% --wallet2=%your FCN address%
--node1=127.0.0.1:8081 is IP and BCN's daemon port.
Use this IP and port for MRO:
--node1=127.0.0.1:18081 instead
And for QCN use this:
--node1=127.0.0.1:23081
--node2=127.0.0.1:24081 is IP and FCN's daemon port

I dont get what the IP should be nor the port mind clearing that

sorry whats the command to start them

In one Terminal, start fantomcoind by:
Code:
./fantomcoind

In another Terminal, start monerocoind by:
Code:
./monerocoind

If you get a permission error, add "sudo" to the front of those commands, like
Code:
sudo ./fantomcoind

Each of those will start the coin's daemons and will download (synch) the blockchain for each coin. AFTER each coin's blockchain has downloaded (the Terminal will display a message saying that synch is complete), then in another Terminal, to start merge mining both coins:

Code:
./minerc --node1 127.0.0.1:18081 --node2 127.0.0.1:24081 --wallet1 monero-wallet --wallet2 fantomcoin-wallet --threads 4

asdddd
cd fantomcoin
is to enter the directory where the files are
Now I do not know if you have the source files
or the precompiled
however, once entered in the directory
do
ls -lia
to see if there
fantomcoind
if there is
then do
./fantomcoind
keep in mind that in doing so you will need to keep the terminal open
as soon as you close
also closes fantomcoind
and you can not undermine

if the file
there is no
then you probably have the source files
and you have to compile
but if you do not know the basic commands of linux

Yes, the dev team is very active. I'm not speaking for them, but they're most likely doing what devs do best: working on the project  Smiley. As for this error, I've never seen it before. My very rough guess is that maybe your connection is slow, but perhaps someone who's experienced this message before will chime in.

Hey,

As far as my telepathic powers go I can recommend you to look into miner.cpp file.

To be more precise, you should probably look into miner::set_block_template function - it looks like you set wrong mm_tag in parent_block.miner_tx.extra which causes fantomcoind to reject your submitted block.

Cheers.

Hi fellas wanted to ask you a favor.

Could you write to the pool's marketer 33zer0w0lf and developer zone117x and rise up a question about the FCN (FCN only or merged mining) pool.

Maybe if we all could do this they will actually notice FCN and a community behind it. I've been writing them for a while now and received only 1 answer that it will be launched as soon as it's ready.

I understand that developers are busy people but it looks like all other coins got their pools. And there is not too much difference between FCN and other CN coins. (merged mining does not count - I'm not asking for it currently - it's not a trivial task)

On the side note: going to launch new marketing campaign any time soon and will try to bring more people to FCN. Details will be published later - as always, any help is welcome.

CryptoNote needs you! Join the elite merged mining forces right now here in Fantomcoin topic: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=598823.0

wrote to them. let's hope we can achieve some effect here.

tired of identical bitcoin forks? try out BCN - no ASICs, no transaction tracking https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=512747.0
