are there any working exchanges at all?
I think hitbtc.com This exchange looks very nice plus they support withdrawing/depositing USD to your bank account and robot trading. Has anyone had any experience trading here what do you think of them (hitbtc)?

Here are some nodes that still work, if you give the daemon --seed-node on the command line and specify one of these it should work: [OUT]178.63.62.93:24080 6fce0dc5d630d4c2 206459(10)/26647(10) state_normal 270 [OUT]148.251.51.113:8280 3bee84bda53aef3b 1146740(28)/68931(28) state_normal 276 [OUT]176.9.47.243:8280 1270a711d1cd39fc 2008(28)/214(28) state_normal 28 [OUT]176.9.147.178:8280 2e28ae05c5c397fc 548179(24)/46746(24) state_normal 276 [OUT]195.154.181.121:828095ecbc6b58fed537 428472(31)/34084(31) state_normal 270

I'm excited to see activity on this coin again. There is so much potential for cryptonote coins. Since this coin is being reworked, may I humbly suggest a few changes: 1. The name of the coin. Not trying to insult anyone, but when I first heard the name "Fantomcoin" it made me think of Scooby Doo. It next made me think of a billboard I saw that was about fireworks. A brand name is very important. How about something that describes what the coin does and has a broader appeal other than to just techies, such as: - PrivacyCash
- PrivacyCoin
- eCash
- eCoin
Those names somewhat describe what the coin does and hint at its features. This is important if it expects adoption outside of the techie circles. 2. A flatter emission curve. The curve on this coin is steeper than many other coins, including Bitcoin. It's steeper than most of the other cryptonote coins too. The majority of the coins will be mined too quickly, imho. I say these things because I want to see cryptonote coins succeed. I think they are a valuable compliment to Bitcoin since they offer complete privacy whereas Bitcoin is pseudoanonymous. There are legitimate needs and uses for each.

I've never been involved with FCN, although I've mined some of it. I have no idea if it is still alive. I would assume so since the block explorers at minergate and chainradar still show it.
