A lot of the people waiting for the release of the wallet may have been spooked off the position already. Was a scare tactic unleashed last night that caused a bit of panic which may effect today.

Will be interesting to see how the trade plays out in next 24 hours.

I think it may actually move higher today.

Tried Veribit, sent a few VRC's from VRC wallet directly to one of my BTC wallet addresses, but it hasn't arrived yet.

Edit: just arrived, so it works. But it took 20 minutes total, what's up with that?

It's not going to be any faster than bitcoin. For bitcoin, 20 minutes is not too bad.
