download is still for old version (1.3.0) Ditto. Devs, you really need to link the latest wallet on Vericoin.info (Windows) Also, please state the release version and date on the main page of ANN thread so people know they are downloading the right version.

This coin is going to be worth big bucks if they leave it at batch1. But i'm afraid they build alot of batches of which the coin will be valued at silver price instead of uniqueness.
Hey guys sorry I have been busy and have missed a lot of physical coin questions apparently, you can get me more directly on twitter @socal_crypto or on the VRC IRC chan, In response badass.sx, Due to popular demand I am already planning a second run but will do several things to protect the value of coins. Firstly there will only ever be 100 coins stamped First Edition so that's one way to protect donor/purchasers investment, Secondly at most there will only be one minting a year of a maximum of 2000 coins per minting, preserving scarcity. Also each minting will utilize a different tamper evident hologram and I am still debating weather to continue stamping the coins with each edition or not, but it will be easy to tell the difference between different Editions. These mintings will only be made as long as there is community demand. So please everyone for further questions follow me on twitter join IRC or PM me so I can be sure to get your questions. and THANK YOU to all who have supported myself, VRC, and this project. Pre-orders for the remaining physical Vericoins can be made here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=669672.0Hi. I was lucky enough to order the first batch, please put a date on them, if you plan on making more, once a year. First coins should have 'First Edition' on them and the year. Next coins just year. but i would not want to see many more of these coins, best if they are kept rare. But i think it would be really cool to do Gold ones also. Many thanks Surestrike. Gold could be done but wuld be exponentially more expensive and would require a minimum of 50 pre-orders so possible, but then we are talking big money. As for the year on the coins it will have the year, in fact here is the mock up of what the coins will actually look like http://imgur.com/P2FaLkU

Is the block explorer down ( http://blocks.vericoin.info/ )? Tried Veribit, sent a few VRC's from VRC wallet directly to one of my BTC wallet addresses, but it hasn't arrived yet. Edit: just arrived, so it works. But it took 20 minutes total, what's up with that? Bitcoin confirmations take a while, you know that. 20min is not bad considering how slow BTC is. Well, it was faster in the Demo video. I'm not talking confirmations here but just the unconfirmed transaction. By the way, I just noticed it's staking while locked now? That's awesome.

Verisend is both trusted and centralized (as opposed to trustless and decentralized). In other words, it's a completely worthless anonymity solution. AKA, it's a gimmick, kind of like how veribit is a gimmick, just in a different sort of way.

The Devs have already stated that they are working on complete decentrialized system for Verisend and Veribit. Tell me how its a gimmick, where can I you spend your Dark, XC, Monero, Black, Peer, NXT, NEM? Don't give me 3-5 websites either! Now where can I spend my Vericoin? Oh right....anywhere Bitcoin is! Vericoin = Checkmate other shitcoins!

Vericoin = Checkmate other shitcoins! It's really not checkmate until VRC can be used on its own. Sorry, that's just the truth. In all fairness, the XC dev is pretty sharp. I'm sure he can figure out a way to make a Veribit type application. I just think the VRC devs were the first to think of something like that and to their credit VRC is now the first mover. Don't count out XC in coming up with something revolutionary. I like Vericoin, so don't get the wrong idea from my comment. I'm just keeping it real.
