Nicely undervalued Volume has ramped back up in the last few days and it is timing up to tear through prices with the DRK problems.  After the BC pump, I'd expect this to get due dilligence.

We are in the process of writing up a detailed account of VeriCoin's staking system.  Here is a wikipedia on PoS generally with additional links, the system was started by PeerCoin and our system is based on theirs.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake

To answer your question, in VeriCoin you only need to open your wallet once a year to earn interest.  However, all the time your wallet is open you are earning compound interest and transactions fees.  So you will earn interest in a complete cold storage wallet opened once a year, but you will earn more by keeping it open.

Well there is already the infopage on cryptsy since  a few days. was posted some pages before here.

So i think it could happen faster than some ppl are thinking

And yes, i hope/think the price can go up again, now because all wallet problems are fixed.

Nothing personal but it Isn't the Wallet or Software-- U R missing something in your install and update procedure.

Yes I did have problems But these Dev's have fixed it and wallet and Coin is now Bullet proof encased in Heavy Armour.
