Sneak peek of simple ANON interface! You tease! It looks like, in less than half a day, the community has already raised half of the funds needed for testing. 'Very nice! As a reminder: No ETA. We are testing it now. We can't run large scale tests until we have some VRC in our ring nodes. We are looking for donations to go to VWtaoEnHHaGrA7TW9P2YBo8ZYetAVak2Wh. They will be used for our mixer. |

VeriSend We are looking to raise 100,000 VRC to our VeriSend bounty address. All coins will be used only for mixing purposes and will not be spent. Please donate to VWtaoEnHHaGrA7TW9P2YBo8ZYetAVak2Wh.We have a test implementation of our VeriSend feature that we've been working on since the coin's inception. We thought it would be fun to drop far after the launch of the coin so the early adopters could be rewarded for investing in such a cool coin. I've been disappointed in the lack of community behind the coin, however. With the pastebin crashing prices and only Rubber_Monkey/sdmathis taking the lead for PR/Marketing, barely anybody knows about VeriCoin. Our sub Reddit is empty. We aren't being tweeted about nearly enough. Nobody is talking about VRC in the Poloniex chatbox. People aren't pestering MintPal and Cryptsy to add us. These things need to change before we release any details. effectsToCause and I have put a LOT of our time and ideas into this coin. Right now it seems that not many people like them or care enough to help us get VeriCoin out into the world. If nobody cares, we could simply just sell off our ANON implementation to another coin that's willing to pay (XLB has a 7 BTC+ bounty for ANON for example). I'd rather see our coin grow. I want the community to form and start to get the word about VeriCoin out there. So here are some benchmarks I will be looking for before we release details about how VeriSend will work: I want to see the coin trading at 5000 satoshi. I don't care how it gets there. The value is WAY too low right now for a coin of this substance. I want to see people joining the Sub Reddit ( www.reddit.com/r/vericoin) and posting there. I want to see people talking about VeriCoin in the Poloniex Chat box. I want to see people talking about VeriCoin on twitter. I want to see people writing articles about VeriCoin on blogs and news sites. Get these done and you will see the most innovative/speedy/secure ANON system to ever be implemented into a cryptocurrency. Let's get donation page back up here!!! 10k donated - Since day 1 the dev's have been relentless in working hard to secure the success of this coin - from dealing with the initial wallet issues to setting up the multipool to now focusing on innovative features such as network staking, anon implemention and who knows what else! that will make the coin stand out in the crypto world. All the while being available essentially 24/7 via IRC to answer any questions people may have!! Find me another dev team that even comes close to this!?? You guys have really proven yourselves as community focused. Thanks so much. We really look forward to testing our full scale implementation.
Once we raise the requisite 100,000 VRC we hope to convince the VeriCoinPool lead dev to join us on this project. Unfortunately, he essentially has no VRC himself as he lost it on a fork during mining. If you would like to help convince him to join us, please feel free to send some coin to him. I'll get his address later. I'd like for him to feel vested in the community too.
Just some background on our hopeful third dev: He's a programmer at one of the top 3 software companies in the world and really knows his stuff. He helped design the OBA function of the VRC Multipool and helped build the trading engine and single payout engine.
More to come later. We are really excited to provide the details of our ANON system in the near future.

I believe in this coin, and Patrick the fact you show face and are real-world searchable instills confidence in your credibility. However, I thought I'd better point out that the talk of sending more money for a new developer won't resonate well with people who are more than wary of previous coin scams so I just wanted to post this to say that my earlier donation was made bearing in mind the above. Others may not realise that you're not (apparently) one of the bad n's. Your post just raised my scam receptors that's all.
I hope people come together and help but it's a pretty big coin-eat-coin world out here so they're probably mostly on the sidelines waiting for more development info and reassurance first.

Just sent 1010.10 Vericoin to fund ring nodes/mixer for testing of the Verisend wallet feature. It has been exciting watching this coin move forward in such a short time! It polished my wallet upgrade skills!
