Holy crap, transferred coins from both Mintpal and Bittrex and they came through instantaneously, what is this sorcery!  Thanks for all the help you've all provided, great little community we have here! |

wow whats overnight its in overdrive! checked block explorer and rate of blocks has tripled or more and also, i staked 3 times with another due to mint soon.
Yes it's definately done the trick!

After the fork it staked 3 times in like 5 mins and I thought all was cool but now its out the Name of your wallet should be "syncfinal" if it is not, you have the wrong wallet. download the new one (Windows link) from the op. |

After the fork it staked 3 times in like 5 mins and I thought all was cool but now its out the Name of your wallet should be "syncfinal" if it is not, you have the wrong wallet. download the new one (Windows link) from the op. it should work with the first v.2 as well, but if you're on a bad fork you might have to get rid of some peers and download the chain again. It's generally a bad idea to name releases "final", "latest", "new" and so on. They should be numbered. |

Now that the wallet is working and staking. Can someone write a guide or update the OP about POS and how it works? Few questions that I can't seem to get a definite answer on. Sorry if this was answered earlier in the 350+ Pages.
Do we need to keep the wallet open all the time?
If not, then for how long and how frequently
Difference between Stake and Spendable
How I move coins from Stake to Spendable?
What does 'you weight' & 'network weight' mean?
Total coins through POW is 1000 and then with POS it is 100% per year, with a total limit of 10000 coins?
Few other FAQ's can be added to make existing & new Syncer's be aware of how POS works.

After the fork it staked 3 times in like 5 mins and I thought all was cool but now its out SOUNDS LIKE THE STAKES ARE ORPHANs open and close the wallet if that does not work save the dat file copy it elsewhere and start the whole chain again once synced copy your saved dat file and replace the new one your coins will all be there |

Yea I did that. All working again. They must have been orphans as they have disappeared in the new wallet but its just staked again and its up to 15 confirms so its looking like im sorted.

I was hoping for some disaster so we could see a mass dump and drop in price again, this sort of stability of product is just not acceptable! This is ridiculous! I'm now staking, my wallet is syncing perfectly so this recent fork went as smooth as one could hope for. I was hoping for some disaster so we could see a mass dump and drop in price again, this sort of stability of product is just not acceptable! Whomever is responsible for this perfection must be punished!
I have something that will break your heart! MsCollec is changing the interest rate to 0.01%.. Ridiculous eh |
