UPDATE: The first issue of the magazine is starting to trickle in to all of our subscribers! Such a glorious day! I hope all the negative detractors can swallow their pride and be constructive enough to help us move on and make each month's issue better and better by providing us with valuable feedback. Thanks for the support everyone! ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83530) UPDATEhttp://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/5/prweb9463303.htmThis magazine will very shortly reach every Barnes and Nobles in the USA. We will start it with a 2,000 issue run. If things go well each month, we will double the run each month and continue to build exposure. Right now our target locations are USA + Canada, but we will gladly ship anywhere internationally for a small additional shipping and handling fee. This magazine will change the way people look at Bitcoin in the media. It will represent us to the outside world. When people go browsing the magazine section, they will grab this magazine and open it up to see what Bitcoin is all about. This is where it begins people. You can help us do it right by doing two things: 1) Buy an issue -- we don't turn a profit. We need as many issues out the door as possible to ensure that the next month will be as fruitful. This is how the magazine world works. Tell your friends. Tweet about it. Write a blog article about it. 2) One of the biggest complaints Bitcoiners have so far is that they are being misrepresented in the media-- well, here's your chance to make it right! Help us, help everyone. If there is something you feel we should be doing differently, tell us-- we'll listen. Our lifeblood is the interest of our readers. Speak loudly and clearly. All it takes is 1 Bitcoin and you can have your print issue shipped to your door, a collectors item and a piece of Bitcoin history. Sorry, it's my fault. We are .net. Updated the OP with www.bitcoinmagazine.netThis magazine will very shortly reach every Barnes and Nobles in the USA.
Am I misreading this? Sure aren't buddy. We're already in contact with Barnes and Nobles and their major suppliers to get this out the door as soon as possible. As soon as our UPCs and ISBNs clear, we're off to the starting gates.

This will never work, its flawed and unjust. You will never get B&N to take your magazine. This is crap!!!!... Sorry just trying to be a troll. How did I do? Anyway, very nice clean layout. I LIKE. Edit: Only cause it says Pirate on the cover.

This is awesome!
But why is the price set in $ and not in BTC, if you are not looking to profit from it?
Anyway, what will it cost to get it send to Europe, Denmark?

We have in-house printing and out-sourced printing (better safe than sorry) and both of those require receipt of fees in USD. We accept Bitcoin and CryptoXChange codes, but nothing else-- our distributors however will be selling the issues in bulk to bookstores around the country, in which case you would surely be able to use the local currency to purchase it as well. There is some very interesting accounting that needs to be done to allow for iPhone Newsstand, Android market, web, local print, and international print. We'll be doing our best and remain transparent the whole way through. Ask anything and we will tell you. (Just don't ask what we're wearing. You know who you are.)

Okay, I thought I couldn't pay with BTC (I'm blind), but awesome! Something I don't understand though. For what reason would people order 12 of the digital version? And what would it cost if I were to buy a bulk for my institution (around 50 prints)?

Pre-ordered. Shared with 479 people on the Google+ shared Bitcoin circle. Something I don't understand though. For what reason would people order 12 of the digital version? He means 12 issues, not 12 of the same issue It's a subscription, basically.

My only concern is that 2000 issues copies of the first won't last long. Ramp it up to 10,000 then at least we have some non-bitcoin people snatching them up.
