Not trolling, actually curious-- wouldn't providing a mailing address to receive the magazine also be stripping you of your anonymity?

We'll see if we can get additional payment methods set up but if you tell me what country you're in, I could probably tell you where to buy the magazine once it is public.

I am in Denmark.

I don't mind my persona being linked to me buying a bitcoin magazine, but I do mind my persona being connected to buying actual bitcoins.

I am one of those rare people on this forum, who will not buy bitcoin, and never have bought any, but is simply curious to know about them.

B&N has 717 retail stores, and 637 college bookstores.  Based on the preorders we've already seen here, each store would get two copies, at most, and that's if the college bookstores are ignored.

If you plan to buy a copy at a local B&N, better do it quick.  Wink

Wow, Matthew you shock me. I thought you might be a little nuts when you would go off on a former forum member but see now that was most likely just your style of attempting to help the forum and possibly even the member.

Someone finally understands.  Cry

I've always liked BitTalk and I liked the Christmas Special but thought it was a bit over the top at times.
That's just what happens when someone gives me a camera and no direction. I realize it's not exactly suited for Bitcoin and I've toned it all down a lot. Almost exactly half of the viewers of that special complained, while the other half said it was awesome.  Roll Eyes

Although now I understand you were just attempting to take what can be a very, very dry subject and inject some spice into it. This magazine is a great concept that can only help spread the word about Bitcoin. This is another really good concept from you and your team.
We all really appreciate that!

I have to admit I’ve avoided DialCoin. Not because of you but because I think Vladimir is a dick (a very talented and amazingly qualified dick) but I might have misjudged that too.
I wouldn't say dick, I'd say married with children, highly experienced and not easily amused. I work on him though and get him to laugh a lot so I've only ever seen him as a mentor. I personally think the Intersango guys are kind of dicks, but I would love to work with them. I guess it depends on if you're thinking friends or business ey?

Good luck with your new project. B&N is just down the street from me. I'm eager to see it arrive at my local store and get a copy. I wish you all the success in the world.

We're pushing for 5,000 issues now. Let's hope everything happens all at once, although it's highly unlikely for the very first issue. I hope everyone is realistic about that and won't send me hate mail just because it didn't reach their store in-the-very-beginning.

Peace!

UPDATE: Looks like our credit card using fans will finally be able to get the magazine their way. Our first official distributor will be memorydealers.com, who is already selling Casascius coins for credit card there. We have authorized them to sell digital and print issues as well as subscriptions.

More updates soon!

Hmm, will it really cost 50 $ to have it shipped to EU???

Can't be right...

What shipping option should an EU buyer use on memorydealers?

I have no idea why it says that. I think his shipping is based off of usual products and not a magazine. I'll talk to him about it. Thanks for bringing this up.

You have to select free shipping I think  Smiley

edit: Also tried to order but if you select a free shipping option they don't work in EU. Their is no international free shipping option.

If you're referring to MemoryDealers, just contact Roger Ver directly (roger@memorydealers.com) and I'm sure he'll gladly correct the mistake for you.

Absolutely fantastic!
I was just about to order a 12month pack, printed, intl.
It says "Nothing will be shipped for this order." on checkout, is that to be ignored?
