I never got any PM. Try emailing bittalk.tv@gmail.com where 3 different people read everything that comes in.

Then I'll hand-deliver them--for free--throughout the whole Chicagoland area. Any other problems I can solve? This is not a joke!
I have ordered 50 copies of the magazine, and I will personally deliver them to my dentists office, local business-owners, and other strategic places around town. I will also hand deliver one to the manager of my local bank branch, so that when she gets word from "up above" she will know what the heck we are doing with our account.

However there is a bonus you get with written material, that being freedom of the press, hence why 2600 was reluctant to issue digital copies for so long after what happened to Phrack and similar e-mags in the 90s (epic law enforcement editing/crackdown/seizures)

NOTICE: We're still on target for releasing this month, but in the spirit of the way magazine traditionally do it, I'll be changing the 'actual' release date and the cover to reflect "March 2012" instead of "February 2012". Not really important. Just thought I'd share.

Why do magazines do that, anyway? It fucking annoys me for some reason.

Why do magazines do that, anyway? It fucking annoys me for some reason. Because no one wants to buy an old magazine. If you're browsing through the mags at a store, and see "February 2012" instead of "January 2012", then you'll think, "Oh hey, this one just came out this month! Great!" Or at least, the average person will.

But, come to think about it, there's this site called Long Bets...

Why do magazines do that, anyway? It fucking annoys me for some reason. I agree it's annoying. Why can't we just all be happy with a May magazine in May... or a 2012 car in 2012.... Cars are always releasing 2013's in late 2012... grrr, seems dumb. It's not like we're time traveling... Looking forward to magazine! I can help with distribution in Cleveland, although I don't have the funds to purchase too many to donate. At $6 a piece, it's tough for me to get too many people in on buying some, but we'll see how they react once I get one!

How come the "12 Issues (Digital) + Bonus Issue + Gift" is unavailable for purchase?
I can take pre-orders for the print issues because we can send those addresses directly to the printers. Digital downloads though would require the digital files to already be ready. Some pre-orders did get through, but I'll need to manually e-mail those individuals with an access link etc. It's much simpler for us to just sell the digital copies once there is actually something to download.

Then again, that means you're missing out on pre-funding. Just keeping a list of email-addresses and then sending out the link as soon as you have it would not be too much effort if you update the list every now and then, considering you're getting your money earlier for it.
