Just got my copy of the magazine in the mail

I meant I was sorry for revealing I got the magazine.

I know you only sent to a select few for screening, so yeah, shouldn't have shared.

You could have warned me tho, I thought everyone got theirs now.

Why would you need to screen it if everyone got theirs?

Well your editorial board is leaking then.

Which is it? Is the Editorial Board (which doesn't have a complete copy of even the older drafts much less the new one at this point) leaking, or did you get a printed copy in the mail?

Obvious troll is obvious.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

<snip>

I think I remember sending you the below before and you stating the something like the above then.
Yes, we had their contact information from day one.

Have you heard back from Ingram or Interlink? And was the draft you sent all three of them strong enough to make an impact during their decision making process?

Everything is under control Bruno. Matters of publishing and distribution are not going to be discussed in this thread.

Emphasis mine. Please accept my apology for asking a couple questions, ones I didn't realize were sensitive and business related until now. But,...

This is awesome!

But why is the price set in $ and not in BTC, if you are not looking to profit from it?

Anyway, what will it cost to get it send to Europe, Denmark?
We have in-house printing and out-sourced printing (better safe than sorry) and both of those require receipt of fees in USD. We accept Bitcoin and CryptoXChange codes, but nothing else-- our distributors however will be selling the issues in bulk to bookstores around the country, in which case you would surely be able to use the local currency to purchase it as well.

There is some very interesting accounting that needs to be done to allow for iPhone Newsstand, Android market, web, local print, and international print. We'll be doing our best and remain transparent the whole way through.

Ask anything and we will tell you. (Just don't ask what we're wearing. You know who you are.)

...would you be so kind as to let us know what questions we can ask? If there's not going to be any discussions of publishing and distribution on this thread, then...wait for it...

~Bruno~

You can ask anything you want. I won't be discussing publishing or distribution details with the public in a thread. We'll announce important details like that directly on our website though.

Yup, me too.  I paid for a full 12 months up front. I have NOT even received a confirmation of payment.

Frustrating.

To save time here I'll just repeat my previous statements:

To anyone who didn't receive a confirmation invoice and used BitPay to pay, please drop an email to stephen@bit-pay.com and request one with your payment details. It is crucial you have receipts just as it is crucial we know where to send your orders.

Thanks.

If you have an invoice, that is your proof of purchase and your confirmation. I don't know what it is you're asking for.

Are you talking about a confirmation of your magazine having been shipped to you? Since you pre-ordered the magazine, we can only provide that one the issue is actually published. I'll repeat this again, at the moment we're waiting for the illustrators to finalize their current workload this weekend.

I'll be giving an official announcement after they are done with their jobs.

Alright then good luck.
I did get the impression the first issue was already finished, from the responses here.
Is there a deadline for print yet?

I think I've said this a dozen times now, but any account/subscription/refund/payment issues, please take them up with Adam Harding, the customer accounts manager. You can e-mail him at adam@bitcoinmagazine.co.uk

If he's not handling the customer accounts (like this), then he's not doing his job and I'm paying him for nothing.  Wink

Thanks!

Okay! I'm sorry... I just do not read the entire thread to figure this out... Than ks anyway and, good luck!! I wish the best for you guys!!  ^_^

Actually, if you could send it to support@bitcoinmagazine.co.uk, then we'll all get it and it'll be handled much faster I'm sure.

Thanks!
