Guys, I downloaded CLAM-1.4.17 [32 bit] and got stuck when sycn. So I download bootstrap.dat
I copied it to my wallet.dat folder, when I open the client says "Importing blocks". And nothing happen since then.
Should I be connected to the internet when using bootstrap or not?
And do I need to delete my old clam data that I already sycn to make the bootstrap works?
"I already 2 years and 1 weeks behind".
It doesn't matter if you're connected to the Internet or not. The client won't use the Internet connection until it has finished importing the blocks from bootstrap.dat. If you see "importing blocks" it's working. You just need to wait a day or two. No need to delete anything - it will continue from the point you got to before. |

Other than being given away to random people who were lucky enough to retain old wallet.dat files and private keys, Clam Coin has no real value or advantage over countless others.

Nope... but the addition of leveraged/margin trading on polo has allowed for some interesting price swings lately. If I am wrong and there has been some great new development... someone please advise. |

Just wondering, what happens if one entity gets 51% of the undug keys? Or at least enough keys with more balance then was used back in 2014 for clam mining. Is possible for this entity to do historical 51% attack with forking the blockchain from the very first day? |
