Yes that was April's fool and now it's over. I mean personally it reminded me of this project which I was not following anymore: there are some many coins out there but I've always liked Clams. I should maybe start a wallet

I find I no longer care. I see it as a timely reminder from Theymos to be aware that inaccurate metadata manifests as misrepresentation and that, in turn, suggests dissembling.

In keeping with the basic principles of cypherfunk-derived cryptocurrency, it can only be a pointed suggestion to create a fresh bitcointalk subscriber address for each posting.

I can't think of any other sane reason for abusing user profiles in such a manner.

 FIXED - - My Clam Client (64bit) doesn't show that it is importing the bootstrap.dat.

Is there anything I can do or should I just wait?

I put the bootstrap.dat into the same folder as the wallet.dat file.

Do they need to be separated from the client folder, because I have all 3 files in
the same folder.

EDIT - Download it, put it into the same folder as your CLAM wallet.dat, then restart the client. On Windows, this folder is "%appdata%\Clam".

Yes, but it's also meant to give the correct results.

I wanted it to give the same results as the Bitcoin block rewards. My code does, and yours doesn't. The 15th reward should be 0.00610351.

That's why I used integer arithmetic, not floating point.

Be careful running binaries from strangers. I've never built it on Windows (and find the concept of using Windows for anything related to crypto to be pretty disturbing).

Much less than it was a couple years ago - of course. 
 
That said, network weight has went down a bit recently, I believe - likely due to more active markets on Poloniex. 
Network weight is currently around 1.22 million, but it is only an estimate and can vary quite a bit. 
You would have to take your balance and calculate what percentage of the blocks you might expect to get and then calculate your percentage return.

I ran a test for the last few months to answer exactly that question. I put 10k CLAMs into a wallet and left it to stake.

It staked 553 times in 75.68 days. That means you need 1368.55 CLAMs to stake once per day on average.

I calculate that to be 26.67% annual return:
