Dear HYPER Community;
It brings me great joy to inform you that EMC2, with the help of the HYPER Community, has successfully reached our crowdfunding goal for the Havekes project -- you helped fund science success, [[THANK YOU!! ]]
From the looks of things by the end of the campaign (Jan/31) it will have exceeded the goal. I conveyed the news to Dr. Havekes who was sincerely appreciative of all of the work that went into the effort and particularly the abundant sponsorships that pulled the campaign though.
As BTC took the nose dive it was good to know that HYPER rose. Keep doing well.
Thanks again for your participation.

Good to see that the HYPER community is still going strong. Unfortunately I've had no time to be actively involved on this forum, but i remember the times we were buying under 1k. Great work Hyperfuture.

Yeah. Looks like the server needs to be upgraded. The whitepaper is in the works right now. HYPERfuture will announce it when it is ready.

Those are great news. And by the way, hows the wallet? You got much left to work at it ?

Those are great news. And by the way, hows the wallet? You got much left to work at it ? The wallet should be ready for public testing soon. I'm fixing the major bugs, and I went forward with the initiative to restart the web client design from scratch, as the underlying markup and stylization were not very clean, modern, and scalable with the framework we're using. There are a lot of things that needs to be done for the wallet to be successful. Fortunately, most of these are complete. All we really need to do (and are doing right now) is to finalize the frontend design for the testing release, clean up the backend code, clean up the markup and sylization of the frontend, and create and pass additional tests to ensure everything is running smoothly. This is a big and serious project where all angles need to be accounted for, so there can be unintended delays. The good and bad news is that I don't want to release a product that is not perfect or meets expectations. However, you don't have to wait long for the testing release to be ready! This release should have SSL/TLS already set up with the major functionalities completed. As soon as the wallet is ready for testing, all the people who have expressed interest will be able to test the system with free HYPER and earn more free HYPER for finding bugs and submitting suggestions. It's on its way! I know that it's a bit disappointing to wait. I completely understand, but we're hard at work. I think, feel, and breathe HYPER everyday. HYPER is a great coin with a bright future! I am also really excited about further developments with the HYPER MMO!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've had a really busy weekend. I love all the ideas and work going on for the MMO. Rather then tell everyone what to do I am more than happy to let it evolve as a HYPER community project. I can of course also offer bounties to contributors Please keep the ideas coming. I am looking at getting the hosting upgraded ASAP for the hypercrypto.com hosting. Looks like we are a victim of our own success! Also all winners for the monthly blitz will be paid out within 24 hours. Will also reply to all PM's soon. Game on!

it's easier to just enter git clone *repository address* && cd *repository/src* && make -f makefile.unix

it's easier to just enter git clone *repository address* && cd *repository/src* && make -f makefile.unix You'll actually have to still download the necessary packages for the make to be successful. Also, the only difference between the git method and the method described in the post ("Download and Compile Sources" section) requires the person to also download and install git. The instructions in the satoshisguru site comes from a blog post I've written more than a month-and-a-half ago. . The dependencies may have changed since then, but the instructions should still be helpful for beginners. I think you'll also need this package "libqrencode-dev". Also, getting the Qt wallet to work (built from source) is a bit different than setting up the headless daemon. For example, you''ll have to also download and install Qt dependencies before you do a "qmake" and "make" (after qmake is done). I believe these additional packages should help: "qt4-qmake" and "libqt4-dev". Hope that helps!

Hey everyone just a general HYPER news update Just a reminder to everyone that the big things coming up for HYPER in the near future are the official HYPER Whitepaper and the new anonymous mobile web wallet! Independent crypto journalist Dave Seaman had a great podcast recently with HYPER US business developer Justin Giefer where they discussed Bitcoin and HYPER in some detail. They made a nice analogy in their discussion that Bitcoin is like Microsoft and HYPER is like Apple, and the potential of HYPER for breaking into the global gaming market Check it out: http://www.stitcher.com/s?eid=36763655 We also have a new HYPER price alert twitter account: https://twitter.com/HyperMarketTrex (HYPER is NOT hypercoin and this should be fixed soon) In this news post I also want to do a shout out to Ken from twitter, who I personally recovered 20K HYPER from his old wallet.dat for him. He keeps tipping me through changetip on twitter and I really appreciate it! We have such a great community you're all awesome. I advise everyone who hasn't yet to also check out the new HYPER OP design here. It is much better. Don't forget that HYPER can also be bought with USD at https://comkort.com/trade/hyper_usd Instructions: http://hypercrypto.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page#How_To_Buy_HYPER_With_USDCurrent HYPER twitter competitions anyone can enter

NEW 500 HYPER RT competition: https://twitter.com/HyperCrypto/status/556913693871849472
NEW 250 HYPER RT competition: https://twitter.com/HyperCrypto/status/555464443577262081There has also been a lot of great discussion about the core HYPER MMO and I'm as excited as everyone else about it! There has also been a lot of exciting discussion behind the scenes with a number of people about new HYPER projects, but can't announce anything yet. Watch this space. HYPER Wiki has been updated with lots of info check it out at http://hypercrypto.com/wikiRandom note: after bitcointalk going down so much recently I would recommend changing your password here if you haven't already. Better safe than sorry

New mining pool ready for public testing: http://hyperpool.microngaming.comThe pool mines Blakecoins using 8 round Blake-256 hashing (not all miners are supported!). The pool pays out in HYPER. You can mine using your CPU, GPU, and FPGA. The mined coins are sold for Bitcoins which are used to purchase HYPER and pay out miners. To start mining read the getting started page.
