I have this warning message: "Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers."

Do i need to reload the whole chain or can i fix this easy?
(repairwallet didn't helped)

No the cloudstaking means that anyone can stake HYPER by buying a cloudstaking contract with GorillaStake. They are their own company and separate to HYPER although we really appreciate their support of HYPER!

We currently have a web wallet at http://coinstore.me/wallet that supports HYPER and also has an API for online game developers thanks to the awesome Coin2 team. The staking web wallet developer, meowball, last said that real life has become very busy for him and he is unsure when he can finish the project. So the Coinstore web wallet is the main one for now, although I am sure the staking web wallet will be completed sometime in the future when meowball returns! Maybe if we ask nicely the C2 team can also add staking to their web wallet.

Nice to see lots going on in the HYPER world! 

I haven't got too much to tell you about the development of Troll Song atm, but when I have news, it should be pretty big news....

Hey everyone. As promised it's time for a big HYPER news update!

I don't know where to start there is so much to mention:

- Perhaps the most important news is that the monthly HYPER signature campaign has now been cancelled. Some other expenses have also been cut. This means more HYPER funds each month will be available for game server hosting and development, the awesome HYPER gaming competitions, as well as HYPER PR.

- In fact, HYPER has many, many awesome crypto gaming projects now and the main thing missing is the marketing. As such, from now on HYPER will have 1 huge PR campaign at least once a month. To get things started, 20 000 HYPER are going to be deducted from the 400K MMO Fund, to fund the first of these huge PR campaigns. This first monthly HYPER PR campaign will start over the next week or two. Expect big things such as HYPER on Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg Businessweek, CNBC.com, and more. That's it! You will receive HYPER every 10 minutes for those 2 simple steps whenever the stream is live.

3? Optional: Earn additional HYPER by clicking the heart button to follow the channel, and by placing bets as explained below.

A little about betting: You can win up to double your initial bet amount. There is a 2% fee on winning payouts which is automatically deducted. Players must take the opposite side of any bet you place in order for you to win. If you bet 1 mHYPER on the CT team to win, someone else must place a 1 mHYPER or more bet on the T team to win that round. The minimum bet amount is currently 1 mHYPER. The maximum bet amount is currently 1,000,000 mHYPER. Keep in mind the video stream is slightly delayed due to video encoding and transmission times.

Hi - great work to everyone working on HYPER! It's awesome to see that people are still excited about the coin after a year especially with so much altcoin fallout. Keep up the great work and keep spreading the word!

I posted a few pages back, but wanted to see if anyone else is having trouble with the Mac wallet. AND NO, I don't mean the "Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers." 

When I try to click around anywhere in the wallet (transactions, address, top menu), the rainbow ball always spins for 20+ seconds every time. For instance, going up to the menu and trying to backup the wallet , with every click - File, backup wallet, select place to save - each one of these clicks is about 30 seconds of wait time, so the entire task, which should take about 15 seconds takes 2-3 minutes! In addition, the wallet is not staking the 5% that it had been until around a month ago.

I'm fairly certain it's NOT the computer, since all other programs work correctly. Are there any dates for when the updated wallets will be released? Would staking via the web wallet be a better alternative? How secure is the web wallet?

6k and you only get the funds if it reaches its goal. So I lowered it this time to 800.00 usd. and a shorter time, since I need this computer asap. I'm really excited to
see what the future will be, sense we have joined forces with Hyper.

On Dragon Knight, I'm not sure if this is a bug or not but it seems like it. I have 818 acres of land and it doesn't seem to be paying off any gold at all. I finally decided to take a break from work on CoC and see how much I gold it had made me so I could upgrade my players equipment and still had under 1k.. oh well.. guess I can get it the old fashioned way the next time I take a couple hours break.  Also if your interested in it and have room for another coin, I'd like to see if I could get Coin2 on there as well, pm me about that please if you are interested so we can discuss how much I need to supply you with.

I can add Coin2 to the game but it may be a couple of weeks before I can do so. My internet company recently removed our unlimited internet status and put a cap on it at 250 gb/month. Right now I am losing over $50 a month with keeping 8 wallets synced daily but once our new internet provider gets us set up this will no longer be a problem.

Here is a quick explanation of HYPER staking.

There is no minimum balance and coins will begin staking after they have been in your wallet for over 24 hours and as long as your wallet is unlocked (this is much faster than many other coins). You will ALWAYS get your 5% per month. If you have more coins (say 10 000 or more) your wallet will stake more often, as larger amounts have a higher network weight and have a higher chance of staking.

But you will always get your 5% per month in the end.

You do not need to keep your wallet open the whole time. You can for example open your wallet 3 days after sending coins to your wallet, and you should start staking very fast, as 3 days is much longer than 24 hours. The longer past 24 hours they have been in the wallet the more chance you have of staking. If you have a small amount (under 5000) it may take longer than 24 hours to start staking but you wil always get your 5% monthly in the end.

No there is nothing at all wrong - it is just something built into the code because HYPER is almost a year old. I will get it fixed with the next wallet update. The network and your wallet are 100% fine!

Here is a quick explanation of HYPER staking.

There is no minimum balance and coins will begin staking after they have been in your wallet for over 24 hours and as long as your wallet is unlocked (this is much faster than many other coins). You will ALWAYS get your 5% per month. If you have more coins (say 10 000 or more) your wallet will stake more often, as larger amounts have a higher network weight and have a higher chance of staking.

But you will always get your 5% per month in the end.

You do not need to keep your wallet open the whole time. You can for example open your wallet 3 days after sending coins to your wallet, and you should start staking very fast, as 3 days is much longer than 24 hours. The longer past 24 hours they have been in the wallet the more chance you have of staking. If you have a small amount (under 5000) it may take longer than 24 hours to start staking but you wil always get your 5% monthly in the end.

Correct. In addition to this, the coins you earn by staking should stake themselves after 24 hours in turn actually increasing the 5% gained per month from your original balance if you were to have your wallet running all of the time instead of just periods. HYPERfuture would have to confirm this though as I can't stand by this 100%.
