New HYPER wallet release will be out within 24 hours.

Major fixes:

- Some updating of the codebase
- Adding of checkpoints for network security (not 100% necessary but it is nice to know we are making the network as secure as possible)
- Removal of that faulty error message about the checkpoint being too old! The HYPER network has always been 100% fine and will continue to be so.
- New compressed bootstrap file for much faster syncing for newcomers
- HYPER blockchain has been compressed (again) in this latest release for MUCH faster syncing in future

Thanks! Unfortunately the Mac wallet was developed by someone else for a very generous HYPER tip. Myself and the HYPER funds can't keep affording to pay these amounts. I will contact the dev and get a quote for a new build of the Mac wallet. Might need some donations from the community to fund its continued development. Will let you know ASAP after the new wallet for Windows and Linux comes out! We will get it done one way or another but it will take longer than the Windows and Linux wallets.

The whole site's been a bit dodgy today.  I can't directly answer your question as I have some HYPER on trade but not withdrawing, sorry.  I have to say their Support is pretty quick to answer if you contact them, though the answers are usually pretty generic.

What is the advantage of the web chat? The IRC protocol can be used with a web based client, or a full client.

Nothing really. Yeah I know but figured it will be nice since it will have multiple rooms and have other features that are not in IRC.
Some of the things that I plan on adding to it in future is public user profiles, top chatter at end of each week will receive HYPER, users can upload their own emoticons to use, and other things.

Edit: Basic user profiles are finished. It shows how many chat messages you sent and your chatter rank.
