Question: Due to big HYPER projects like Poker site, giveaways, competitions, bounties and marketing the 500 000 HYPER MMO Development Fund will be at 450 000 HYPER soon. What should we do?
Keep sponsoring more awesome HYPER projects and spend it down to 400 000 HYPER and then preserve the fund at 400 000 HYPER - 115 (45.1%)
Limit spending (less HYPER projects) until the monthly staking brings the fund back up to 500 000 HYPER - 40 (15.7%)
Manage it how you like. HYPER seems to be going awesome keep it up! - 100 (39.2%)

Don't use dgbpool, they are scammers!

How are they scammers?  I've used them twice now, once with a different coin and both times received my payouts.

Also, the pool was down for a very short time earlier and has been up since.

Glad to hear that in your experience they are legitimate.

We will be monitoring the situation and if any pool is actually proven to be a scam we will obviously remove it from the OP.

Happpy HYPER mining Smiley

How old are coins age supposed to be before they start staking?

Minimum coin age is 1 day or 24 hours. The more coins you have in your HYPER wallet, and the longer it's been since you moved the coins, opened (or unlocked) your wallet, the more chance you will have of automatically generating proof of stake blocks.

Ideally PoS blocks should be generated every 24 hours and compounding, based on a monthly PoS interest of 5%. This may vary slightly for a number of reasons such as the number of coins in the wallet.

Hope that helps Wink

It's been oscillating between 180 - 350 for the last few hours Wink

We expect more miners will probably join the network after we launch the website, forum and get on our first exchange.

Yeah that first exchange (and perhaps some graphics for the thread) will really heat things up. I would love to know more about that game. Smiley

something is not right here. premine should be 75k, and we should only have 112k coins PoW mined up to block 1558. So why is the wallet reporting 1.6 million coins?

premine: 3 Million x 2.5% = 75,000 Hypercoin
PoW; 72.5 Hypercoin x 1558 Blocks = 112,810
total: 187,810

WHERE DID THE OTHER 1.5 MILLION COINS COME FROM!?!?!?

I wouldn't trust this coins, looks like a premine scam. DEV just gave himself a huge premine hoping the coin would go on exchange before a block explorer went up. This smells like a scam. I am pissed I am wasting hashing power on what could have been an ok coin.

I wouldn't trust the dev even if he did relaunch, clearly they just tried to pull a quick one, or don't know how to code.

Maybe they decided to take 2.5% of the 60,000,000 coins that will eventually be mined (in about 5 or 6 years from now) ,and sort of "forgot" to mention that tiny detail  Wink

I assumed it was 2.5 % of the coins that were going to be mined via PoW, not the total number of coins after 5 years. Its still a pretty big premine. If the dev is smart he will PoS mine with the premine and not crush the coin. If the dev is a scammer he will just dump the coin, cash out and leave the community to "take-over" the coin.
