"XC’s custom built platform is built with a newly created network protocol that is encrypted – protecting the transaction end to end. Using a decentralized pool of Xnodes, the transactions are untraceable from sender to receiver. XC’s platform takes it to the next step by using multi-path technology to relay the transaction between multiple Xnodes and split the transaction into numerous micro-transactions. This prevents any single Xnode from knowing the true source and destination of the transaction. The micro-transactions also limit risk due to the nature of splitting 1 transaction into numerous transactions spread out across  a pool of Xnodes."

"XC will be available on mobile platforms to provide real-time NFC and P2P communication, encrypted real-time instant messaging, and retail transaction support for Point of Sales. This is only the beginning, over the next few months the wallet will be updated to support all sorts of applications that can be used - including a marketplace, asset transfers, and digital contracts."

that's the future!

Can someone point me to latest releases please, URL on website is broken

http://xc-official.com/release/wallets/
http://xc-official.com/release/wallets/XCv0.9.1.35x11-coin-1.0.zip

I think 1.36 will be due pretty soon.

This is good data and actually a very simple fix, which will be included in v1.36....

@provenceday - Enjoy your enthusiasm but is there really any need to post so many times in a row  Undecided

All views are my own, except those that I have subconsciously inherited from my parents and those that I have nicked from far cleverer people.

Can somebody explain to me why XC was worth about 0.005+ last week and quickly after that went down to ~0.002 until now and hasn't moved much? We only had positive news (anonymity being implemented) the last days, right?

I am running my wallet as a Xnode, just want to put something here to understand how xnode works:

I received two transactions(maybe from the mixer):

#1

Code:
Status: 4/unconfirmed
Date: 2014/6/3 18:51
From: unknown
To: XXPAnJ6aCxtem1Na56QAA3ZrvxKVrPpkz9 (own address)
Credit: 0.265879 XC
Net amount: +0.265879 XC
Transaction ID: bddd0956da8e35f9c11b207bcc1fd9f75fc0f01a58ab672533bf9837a233201c

#2

Code:
Status: 5/unconfirmed
Date: 2014/6/3 18:51
From: unknown
To: XXPAnJ6aCxtem1Na56QAA3ZrvxKVrPpkz9 (own address)
Credit: 0.734121 XC
Net amount: +0.734121 XC
Transaction ID: 265442a1bc7e99114f62b4f6c2215104943b0a0cfb7130d747fca56d2894bf09

The total XC above transactions are 1 XC.

Then, 1 XC sent to XSps9KGhNr8L7SK5NyTSbTQBZ48Ewkwvq8 automatically:

Code:
Status: 4/unconfirmed, broadcast through 7 node(s)
Date: 2014/6/3 19:28
To: XSps9KGhNr8L7SK5NyTSbTQBZ48Ewkwvq8
Debit: -0.99999 XC
Transaction fee: -0.00001 XC
Net amount: -1.00 XC
Transaction ID: 37b60318b9bfff0838cfe2608f22077f7e7e7fc33555592d53e2e16cffa20588

But I did not get any rewards from being a Xnode, how to check if I am right? Huh

Not sure how the mixer works, can anybody explain to me? Appreciate it.

I had a new wallet address created in my wallet.

 Huh

The 0.005 value was from a bubble. Bubble prices are not sustainable. We will retest at some point though.
