Hey guys......setting up Xnode and have a question. Dev's guide says to wait for 25 confirmations after sending to new wallet address named MIXER. It appears to me that it is only going to go to 6 confirmations so I thought I would ask.........do I still need to wait for 25 as instructed or can I shut down and do my config file to start the xnode after 6?

I know he's been around answering a few technical questions and made point of that in my post. From a non tech point of view, i just want to know XC's aren't going missing, and if they are, its being looked at. And would simply like to know how far along we are with actually being anon. From my point of view these things are still a bit vague.
Im in it for the long term too, and just because I havewn't been posting much, doesnt mean I haven't been reading every post in this thread.
Whats happening with the new logo and PR team that was mentioned last week?
I suppose the best we can do right now is offer to help and see if ATC agrees to community assitance with PR, Logo, ect. I am willing to offer some of my time to do what I can. I agree. Though at some point last week one user offered his services doing the PR/Marketing side of things, and dev replied that he has a PR team in place and will give us an update later on that day (possibly end of last week) (sorry, too many pages to sift through to quote right now) that is correct, and the logo winner was decided ysterday/today so expect to hear PR news in the next couple of days I thought thrash won it last week? Anyway thats good news. Are you part of the dev team by the way?

I am on version 1.39 try 'repairwallet' in the console. it worked thanks so much, i had to ran that repairwallet twice. Also, i have few unconfirmed transactions like your have that "?" under the transactions tab, should they be confirmed automatically? These transactions are from "Staking" Thanks again. no those are orphaned "staked" blocks Got it thanks, I will wait on the how to for dumping private keys. what do u want to do with now that its recovered?! just delete the full wallet! if u still monitor XC price changes u will end up having a heart attack! delete the full wallet and save ur life! That didn't work mate!!!! I already tried that, the command repair wallet worked. ummm you deleted your wallet.dat?

You need to wait for 25 confirmations v1.40 will be released shortly to address a bug in the code w/ the 25 confirmations check.

You need to wait for 25 confirmations v1.40 will be released shortly to address a bug in the code w/ the 25 confirmations check. Pretty sure I got it working, went past 6 confirmations after about 20 minutes and then hit over 25 really quick from there. I assume I will know soon enough if it is working correctly for me. I take it I also need to leave the dos window open, or can I close that after it loads the wallet fully?

I have to report as well that I upgraded my wallet, but definitely had to use a new x11 conf file, even though it's stated in dev's release notes that a conf is no longer needed- I couldn't sync. Copy pasted my old conf and everything working as expected.
Great job dev Team! your hard work! I will keep buying!

Why not to create a updater tool for wallet? User just need a updater to keep update. You can't imagine user would always check the xc website for updates after mass adoption. IT IS SIMPLE BUT IMPORTANT. PLEASE DO IT FOR US.

Will update to new wallet now as well. Is there a way to check if XNode is functioning or just wait to see if it processes transactions?

IT IS SIMPLE BUT IMPORTANT. PLEASE DO IT FOR US. The wallet could use a update with a few more feauture. 1. Auto update, or atleast a check and a link to a site where users can find the update. 2. In debug sendBymixer? why not a easy checkbox in the send dialog? 3. Status display for xnodes. And a few more. But i'm afraid the Dev is a genius in coding, and forget that regular users should use it, not a uncommon behaviour for extremely good coders. Time will tell.

I'm sure making all these advancements more user friendly to the masses is in the plans. It's funny how people sign up to BETA test and expect perfection or ease of use/understanding. Isn't that the purpose of beta testing stage.....to get the technology out to those that can play with it in its infancy?
Some people seem to be getting mad or frustrated that things are not perfect or as easily understood as they can be, when this dev seems to be making history with this coin. I have MUCH confidence in this coin's future and the dev in making useful to all.

What is the point of having all those great things you listed if the base itself does not work? Would you rather have a shooty base with stuff built around it or a good base to start and then add to it as time goes on?

I am sure that ATCsecure would add the simple checkbox at the right time when the wallet is ready for masses after the proper testing of anonymous/private transactions. Adding the checkbox would be the cherry on the top that would take XC to the... The right timing is the most important and I fully trust XC team that they are aware of that.

Its up to the devs what they do with it or don't do anything at all with it. Feautures are nice, but are mostly used by regular users, they don't like to type, they want a checkbox, or something they can click on. They also want some feedback what is happening, is my xnode running, when is staking happening, is my wallet locked or not, and so on. Devs are developing in a RUNNING and used realtime environment(it can't called beta in any way!!), that brings some extra things to concern.
