^ the controller acts as the computer. You will only need a computer to set up the controller with your pool info.

NO pi needed

I can't answer the pool question. It uses the same controller so mabey same pool result as AM tube.

so this rockminet T1 has also limitation like AM Tube?

^ I'll get A10 cubie and try it on my rk-box that hashes less than my other ones. I'll report back once I get a good comparison.

We tested A10 can be better than A20

For the BE controller, which runs T1 can not be replaced by CUBIE or RPI.
Cubie image file on our web can only run ROCKMINER solution products, from RBOX ,NEW RBOX to RK/R3/R4 BOX.It can not run T1.

Is Rockminer providing the Cubie for free to those who purchased the RK boxes and then purchased pi's when Rockminer didn't ship them??

Those looking to purchase product from Rockminer should read the above thread very carefully and make a decision to purchase partialy based on their after sale service (or lack thereof)

We only ship the parts of hardware customers ordered and paid for! For make things clear, you can contact our customer service before you buy it when something confused u.

I've only been out of the hardware section for a couple of days, but what's an  "A10 cubie" ?

"A10 CUBIE " is the more suitable controller for RE/R4,which will make miners run more stable and lower rejection.
We have tested for long long time.

Will it run Rk-boxes? Does CrazyGuy sell them?

Update: $69.00 on Amazon.

Question: Will the rockminer pi power cable work with the A10 cubie?

Question: would A20 cubie be better or stick with A10 cubie?

1.Yes, CUBIE can run on all of our products except T1,800G;
2.RPI power cable can work with CUBIE.
3.we suggest A10.

I am not confused at all. I know what Rockminer advertised (both for equipment being supplied and for performace of the equipment) and I know what I got.

I said "Don't shipping until all products on deck." What does that mean? Do I need to order 9 more new r-box until you guys deliver the product?

Hey Rockxi.
I don't get it... If I make an order on your webstore the bulk-discount does not apply. And how does it work with the EU shipping? I simply pay 19% more and you'll do the rest?
And is there still RPi and a ATX breakout board included if I buy x R-Boxes?

By the way.. Your bulk discount is higher than the single price Wink

You can run both on an A10 Cubie, they go for roughly $60~$70 on Amazon but Rockminer may have some in stock to ship with your purchase.

If anybody else had problems running rockminer software on the new pi B+, I found a easy work around.

Use a regular pi B, set everything up in the rockminer webui like you need it.(Make sure it's correct, because you won't be able to see/change it after work around)

Still using regular pi B, ssh to it(with putty or something similar) and put the next three lines below.

Note: The first one takes 2-3 minutes, the second takes 10-15 minutes and comes back with one error.(The error is ok)

Log in: root
Password: rockminer

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo poweroff

Now take the card out of the regular pi B and use in pi B+
It works great, but when u access the webui it's blank(just says "welcome to gnix") so you have to watch pool stats.

If you know a better way to get rockminer software to work good with pi B+ please let me know.

Nice! I picked one up off eBay and used my eBay bucks and saved a good deal. Just gotta wait it's arrival now. Also working on picking up a Beaglebone black to play around with.

Anyone here running the new R-Box with MultiMiner by chance? I plan on running a controller for mine soon but wanted to get it up and hashing asap....sadly I am only getting about 50 Gh/s effective and 75 Gh/s avg. and 33% errors. Should I open the unit up and ensure everything is connected properly? The package looks like it went through a war-zone. haha!

Thanks!

I believe you are trying to use BFG Miner, at least that's the same numbers I got when I tried. BFG Miner is working on support for the new r-box but it isn't there yet. nwools started digging deeper into it yesterday so I imagine that means MultiMiner will need to be changed as well. Switch to the CG Miner download from Rockminer and edit the batch file with your pool and worker info and you should have an effective rate at 100Gh/s or higher. These units seem to be touchy about the USB cable as well which may have some bearing on your results too.
