I would urge more people to join the logo-discussion on fimk-forum. There's only a few users discussing the issue atm. http://forum.fimk.fi/index.php?topic=333.0

Hi Devs:

any roadmap or other updates?

They will sponsor a bitcoin-tour in Finland, but i received news-letter from bittiraha.fi, which is the main organizer in that tour and FIMK was not mentioned in that letter  Huh

One thing is for sure, we need more buzz around this coin. The airdrop/citizen-pay will start at October.
I don´t see mass adoption or even get couple of thousands finns to take a part of FIMK would be hard, if it´s value still being close to zero. (planned distribution to Finnish citizen was 200FIMK/per head, which is at the moment about 0.2€....

FIMK is now #48 in coinmarketcap with coins like Dnotes and keycoin  Sad

I think the community cannot stand around and wait for devs.  Successful coins have active communities.  There should be bounties for settings up multipool and altcoin gateway (so altcoins can be traded on FIM).

these devs raised a lot of $$ during the IPO.  im surprised by how quiet they are.  hope they are busy building.  not much the community can do with no development.

why is it that registration to the FIMK forum requires admin approval? That sort of closed door policy has got to be hurting the community's interests. People will certainly ask why a product purportedly created in the spirit of decentralization requires a screening process to enter into a discussion with their peers. It's sort of antithetical isn't it?

it could be related to spam. i know forums are targets of really bad spam, and bots can get past captchas.  sometime manual approval is the best way to keep out the bots.

.. Now via FIM Gateway deposited more then 145`000 FIM ! : http://80.240.143.139/accounts/FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ/

The latest figures - more then 323`000 FIM has been deposited via FIM Gateway  : http://explorer.fimk.fi/accounts/FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ/

and trading continues at Asset Exchange: https://nxtblocks.info/#section/assets_exchange/market/12404894802398759379

Happy trading at Asset Exchange!

For those, who want to trade FIM, I've created the FIM Gataway on Nxt Asset Exchange (AE):

Asset Name: 1000FIM

Asset ID: 12404894802398759379

Each 1 asset represents 1000 FIM coins.

In order to sell your FIM coins on AE, first you need to get 1000FIM asset. To do this send your FIM coins to FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ with your FIMK wallet, _and_ send an Arbitrary Message containing your NXT address (in Reed Solomon format) to the same address (FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ).
(I'll send 5 NXT along with a 1000FIM assets to depositors who do not have any NXT, so that they will be able to place orders)

To guarantee smooth withdrawals, the amount of the 1000FIM assets in circulation will always be less then the balance of FIM-SESR-CDCR-F86V-A2ABQ.

To withdraw your 1000FIM assets transfer them to NXT-M667-6GVL-3JNZ-GRN96 _and_ in the attached message place your FIM address (in Reed Solomon format).

Deposit/Withdrawal time: 12 hours max., usually much faster.

Fees: currently 0% Deposits (!), 0.5% Withdrawals (subject to change).

Minimum Deposit: 1000 FIM  (subject to change)

Minimum Withdrawal: 1000 FIM  (subject to change)

To trade on AE without local Nxt client you can use one of the public Nxt nodes:

http://217.17.88.5:7876/          http://vps4.nxtcrypto.org:7876/
http://vps8.nxtcrypto.org:7876/   http://nxt.ravensbloodrealms.com:7876/
https://miasik.no-ip.org:7876/    https://162.243.145.83:7876/

or use http://www.secureae.com/ web platform.

In order to buy some FIM coins on AE, first you need to get some NXT. You can do this for fiat at instant automated exchange https://coinomat.com/ , or at CCEDK exchange (including North European currencies), or at p2p exchange https://nxtex.net/ (for PayPal, like at Localbitcoins). Or you can use MultiGateaWay , or cryptoexchanges like https://bter.com/ , https://poloniex.com/ , https://www.cryptsy.com/ .

Aint much going with FIMK, price is crashing and nothing much has happened after launch.

I really hoping to see some development for next weeks, citizen distribution will be total flop if FIMK has no value, users, liquidity or usability. Community seems to share similar thoughts like i.

Read those post above, people are not panicking, but it is certainly sure that FIMK have to take huge steps towards the citizen distribution and in the cryptoworld and especially here, users need lot of feedback from the dev-team. Take a look to the NEM thread and see how the dev-team are allways willing to chat with newbies.

no panicking yet - but soon it will happen. this dev team is on the borderline of failing soon.  they cannot be so silent

price of NEM has been destroyed by slow development (and in case of NEM, devs provide regular updates).

EDIT:  for the first time since launch, i'm thinking about selling

At this time the price of FIMK is only relevant for Pump&Dump. I think long term investors don't get nervous.

Were other sponsors mentioned?

Wallet update is released in the coming week. Its extent is not yet certain.

FIMKrypto is indeed the main sponsor of the Finnish Bitcoin tour which lasts until Aug 20th, spans several domestic locations and climaxes with a massive Bitcoin party in Helsinki.

Kryptoradio national test broadcasts (bitcoin and FIMK transactions through digital tv network) are scheduled to start on September 1st.

The identification facilities embedded into the FIMKrypto national income system are being technically dived into during the latter half of August.

Other parts of the project will be discussed in a more detailed FIMK roadmap that is released in August.

Any speculations about "dev team failing", "price is crashing", "nothing much has happened after launch" are serious hallucinations or the standard FUD of our nice Bitcointalk trolls that for some reason seems to be contagious. However eventually it's not the dev team that makes it or breaks it. Guess who it is?

The best way to help FIMKrypto succeed is to get merchants accept FIMK. Anyone getting a real merchant to accept FIMK will receive a considerable reward. These rewards will be announced on the FIMK forum soon when we have time to get deeper into the merchant adoption program.

Hi Eliphaz Fimk, I would like you to define what "a real merchant" actually is because I do not want to even consider getting a real merchant to take FimK as a payment without knowing what a real merchant is.

Thanks, happy days.
