Is there another cryptonight miner that we can tune GPUs in the command line like this one ?

Hi Guys, New to the forum. I've got a problem trying to switch my Claymore miner over to Stellite, it doesn't matter what I do, all I get are LowDifficultyShare errors. I can mine Electroneum just fine, and Monero also works using the -pow7 switch, so I know it is switching to the right algorithm. However I have tried 5 different stellite pools and they all give LowDifficultyShare errors.
I've tried playing with the some of the command line options by setting dmem to 0 and also tried reducing the hashcount right down, but neither make any difference.
Any ideas why the claymore miner isn't working?
My rig is 2x470 and 2x570.
Thanks
J

LowDifficultyShare errors are, as you probably know, the error you get if mining on the wrong algorithm. AFAIK Stellite uses "Cryptonight Stellitev4" and no longer uses "Cryptonight7" https://www.cryptunit.com/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2813261.2520A couple of miners that now support Stellite: SRBminer v1.6.5, https://cryptomining-blog.com/tag/cryptonight-lite-v7/xtl-stak v2.4.4, https://github.com/stellitecoin/xtl-stak/releases

Thanks for the reply. Yes I guessed it was something to do with the algorithm but I hadn't noticed that stellite was using its own algorithm called "Cryptonight Stellitev4". I guess that makes sense as to why this has miner has now stopped working, so thanks for that. I already had xmr-stak configured, so I just pointed that at one of the pools and whilst it does mine, I am struggling to get it to work well. I could never get it to mine as well as Claymore and it keeps crashing despite the settings and performance I am using, so I'll take a look at the other miners you mentioned. Do you think there is any likely hood that *this* version of Claymore's cryponight miner will be modified to cope with the new variant of algorithm? Thanks J

I think that's why it went free/no dev fee. Wouldn't expect any more updates anyway, it was never even fixed for AMD Vega (which is a massive shame). There are better and more efficient miners out there these days.

@Claymore and to everyone who are experience mining monero, Since I started in mining I only mined Eth algo, so I'm totally noob in mining monero type algo.. Needs some help to all experts here, I currently get 300H per card and I'm using RX 570 4gb and 8gb chopsuey mixed Kindly look my bat.file GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1 GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

Hope somebody here share with me a working config for my cards.. Thanks a lot!

Hope somebody here share with me a working config for my cards.. Thanks a lot! Your hashrate look a bit too low for a RX570. I've not used a RX570 but on a RX470 (which should be similar to a RX570) I can get around 750 h/s mining Monero. The low hashrate you have could be due to an unmodded BIOS - is it modded ? One thing to try out is to just start with the most basic config then add, and tweak, one option at a time. I use OverdriveNtool for setting clock and voltage values and not Claymores options. The only real difference between your config and the one I use is that I use the option "-h" (set to "-h 1024" for a 8GB RX470) but only with mixed cards, the default is usually OK. "-h number of hashes that GPU processes during one round. If not specified, default value is used. For many cases you can increase performance by adjusting this parameter value. For example, "-h 832" means HashCnt=832 for all cards. You can also specify values for every card, for example "-h 640,832,1376,0", zero value means autoselection. "

Hope somebody here share with me a working config for my cards.. Thanks a lot! Your problem is the settings you made for your cards. Its a bit too low. I talk about : -cclock 1088 -mclock 1200 -cvddc 850 -mvddc 850 I have RX580 and i'm at -cclock 1290 -mclock (between 1960 and 2100 (depend the card)) and -cvddc 960 -mvddc 960 And card use only around 75 watts. Check in Polaris bios editor what are your cards MAX cclock and mclock. start from there with HWinfo open when you mine. Whenever you get memory errors. drop your memory/core by 10 and reboot. Until you find the sweet spot for mining without memory errors.

For some reason I'm getting zero 0 hash rate on R9 285 GPU.
Using stock core / memory speeds.
What can possibly be the problem ?

Ok, found the problem. Had to manually set the -h flag, it isn't recognized by 0 / autodetect. Using 440 value for now. Please share your's for R9 280/285 series. Thanks.

The last Claymore version supporting Terascale is 9.7. Unfortunately it do not support forks that occured this year. At the moment you can use other miners for Terascale GPU in case you have free electricity and do not care for hash per watt value. Try xmr-stak for example.
