I've been tracing down scams since getting burned sometime back on bloody Juggalocoin. Scam busting is a crusade of mine. I just escaped Bitswift when it turned out the whole operation was nothing more than a penny stock boiler room operation.  They even admit it somewhere on the main altcoin thread.  Dig about, it is there; I asked them direct.  They might even answer. Well, I put some money into a forensic detective and what does he find? This Startcoin and Bitswift is run by the same group out  of Poughkeepsie New York. Have a care ...

StartCOIN is run by the StartJOIN team in the UK. Not sure where his Intel comes from?

I've been tracing down scams since getting burned sometime back on bloody Juggalocoin. Scam busting is a crusade of mine. I just escaped Bitswift when it turned out the whole operation was nothing more than a penny stock boiler room operation.  They even admit it somewhere on the main altcoin thread.  Dig about, it is there; I asked them direct.  They might even answer. Well, I put some money into a forensic detective and what does he find? This Startcoin and Bitswift is run by the same group out  of Poughkeepsie New York. Have a care ...

Prolly heard it at a party on the Internet...

Roll Eyes  If someone was a serious scam-buster, you would think that they would give their 'hard evidence' to the Police in the UK, rather than just posting in a community forum, where the only effect could possibly be to drive the price down. Why doesn't he name the group operating out of Ploughkeepsie, New York? Why pay a 'forensic detective'? Has somebody been murdered?

I'm holding on tight!  Cool

StartCOIN is run by the StartJOIN team in the UK. Not sure where his Intel comes from?

Exactly this.

Someone is just spreading FUD.

See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=817001.msg9136919#msg9136919 - which is total FUD as said BitSWIFT has absolutely nothing to do with either StartCOIN or StartJOIN whatsoever.

Are you able to create a wallet like this for StartCOIN?

Yes. The software must have built in QR code functionality to present a QR code on the front of the plastic card. Although, a gift style card with just a wallet address is possible ofc.

These are effectively much more durable versions of 'paper wallets'. Production is actually quite time consuming, as the keys must be securely generated and printed in an always 'offline' environment on an individual basis. We are working to provide additional authenticity and certification measures for added security and transparency in this regard.

We would look to create a new crowdfunding pitch for this in the future perhaps.

We and others on StartJOIN will contribute to this. It may do better as the StartCOIN community is growing. Let us know if you start the project and we are in.

Sounds like a plan !

N.B. That the current StartCOIN wallet does not have built in QR codes.

It will take around 24 to 48 hours to get a basic design concept produced for the crypto card and to commence with the submission of the pitch.

I would require written permission (if some form) to commence with print reproduction of the StartCOIN / StartJOIN logo. It might be good for the community to have some say over the final design of the card ?

Pre-loading the cards with StartCOIN is not presently an option as I do not currently hold a reserve of StartCOIN. So, these would have to be produced as 'blank' gift-able StartCOIN crypto card wallets.

Perhaps it would be better to create this as StartJOIN Concept instead of as a fixed Project with a view to express funding of an initial print run / production ? I'm open to options.

StartCOIN Crypto Card Project has been Approved and is now 'live' on StartJOIN.

Is anyone even interested in this coin? I do not understand what is going on with at bittrex right now, it seemed like there was a major dump, and now there is nearly no buys and no sells, only mabe twice a day some one buys up to 1900 and than the price drops to the 1500.

Agreed, miners are the core thing in this matter - depends on them, weather they decide to drop straight from mining - price will fall. The thing about the satrtjoin/startcoin - I, personally do not see any community (except some miner projects on startjoin), there is no major forum or a chat, only this bitcointalk page, where no one is posting, and this fact really makes me think that the bubble has already popped.

People, does anyone know what happens if you do get 100,000 startcoins to startjoin? What are the benefits going to be?

Here are two twits from Max regarding this thing -
