Status update
Also a working version of Windows Crypti node was released to Foundation members for testing on their Windows machines. We are gathering their feedback in order to advance to the public release.

Am I the only one who can't find any updates about it in Cryptitalk.com foundation forum thread or in my e-mail or in personal messages here or in Crypticointalk Huh

It's an update, not an announcement just yet. I can write you a personal message if you'd like, what shell I write?

Am I the only one who can't find any updates about it in Cryptitalk.com foundation forum thread or in my e-mail or in personal messages here or in Crypticointalk Huh

It's an update, not an announcement just yet. I can write you a personal message if you'd like, what shell I write?

Never mind.

Has anyone successfully installed Crypti on a raspberry pi?  It fails every time I try the "npm install" command.

I was able to install a node on my Raspberry Pi, but it takes quite a few extra steps.  The main issue is that the version of nodejs and npm that are downloaded using apt-get don't seem compatible with the Crypti code.  So instead, I manually downloaded and built the nodejs code from the source at:

These are all part of FORGING, but you did not mention forging even once.  Possible oversight.  You got stuck on the "11 herbs and spices"  and forgot to mention the chicken.

Thanks, added a word(future to be a link) to the first line in the text "..are the innovative custom designed hybrid algorithms Crypti uses for its forging system and what makes the Crypti truly unique:"

Please contribute directly to the wiki page if you have an idea how to farther improve it, or emphasize the forging idea. also, that newly created forging page now needs some content.

Nothing. So what? All NODE can do is send NODEs back and forth to other wallets. And guess what? Thats all Crypti can do too. Both coins are projects that just barely started. We won't see what either coin can really do for a while.

Nxt had no features for many many months until AE finally came out and it was awesome. They still are considered in infancy. Crypti and NODE are just barely out of the distribution stage. Neither coin is a threat to anybody let alone each other right now. You should be buying both. They are not clones of each other. I own NODE btw.

But imo Crypti's devs are much more professional with a clear goal. I say invest in the people behind the project. NODE devs seem technically competent but have made too many incompetent mistakes in every other category.

Both coins are closed source messes.  Both coins are full of holes once the "closed" source obfuscation is removed. (LOL like you can "close" javascript source anyway.)  Both coins operate on broken/outdated infrastructure (IMO using components in a misguided-at-best way to begin with) that is vulnerable to known exploits.

Both coins have made some big and bold claims that are not backed up by the actual content of their code.

I'm wondering what BOTH coins are going to do.

Someone should really come in and write an actual, sound, non-hyped, open and community driven coin in nodejs, and eat both of their lunches.

Heck, a straight port of pybc would probably be enough to do it.

Maybe you're right. Maybe the devs are right and you're wrong. Right now I don't see you developing a nodejs project. If you do, you can take my money. But right now I'll stick with Crypti and their devs.

In my many years operating businesses, I never worried about the competition.  I introduced services my competition could not offer, and let them worry about me.  I bankrupted over 14 competitors in 15 years.

My advice to XCR, is to remain innovative, responsive, and flexible.  Copycats will be numerous, but never superior.

Got a major issue with both of my nodes. One is at digital ocean and the other is at home. Today they both stopped syncing all together. I restarted both and after loading the blockchain it restarts and loads it all over again. If I delete the blockchain and have it download it again it loads the very first block then restarts again and remains in this loop. The logs just show the initialization over and over.

I've tried everything, even building a new droplet but the same thing on a fresh install.
