good thing take time  Lips sealed

We initially had to focus most of our energy on stabilizing the client and working out the syncing bugs and issues we were having in the client. Releasing new features into a buggy client would be bad business. I understand it has taken time but we have now been going about 48 hours on 0.1.6c with no syncing issues, db issues, or other. This is progress. It isn't necessarily the progress everyone was hoping for, but it's stable, consistent progress and allows us to move on to the next steps of our development process.

We will continue to make announcements when we have legitimate news and as we learned from our launch delays, it is better if we don't put out specific dates at this time because we can't predict all of the possible circumstances.

Thank you everyone for being patient and letting us do our thing.

Thank you for giving constant updates on things, and for explaining why you do things, that is a sign of professionalism Smiley

We aren't promising anything for that exact reason. Do not expect exact launch windows from us. We will continue to update our roadmap, discuss with you all what items we are currently working on, as well as discuss how that development is going. Features and updates will be released when they are ready and not before.

If you don't like the way our team is developing Crypti or the amount of time it takes us to revolutionize the entire global economy and change the face of commerce, then I hear DOGE is cool. It's even got a pretty picture of a dog.

Remember, Twitter once looked like this:

We all gotta start somewhere!!  Grin

Hello Everyone,

Yesterday I announced CryptiKit, a small but powerful command line app for deploying and managing crypti nodes, on Ubuntu based cloud servers.
Since then I have been working away trying to improve the installation process, plus add more functionality to the app.

Today I bring the following updates:

- Added an automated install script to ease the initial installation of CryptiKit
- Added 'add_key' task which automatically uploads your ssh public key to each server
- Added 'restart_nodes' task for conveniently restarting your nodes
- Added the ability to target specific servers with any of the commands

Source code is available here:

Instructions are available here:

Still on my Todo list, is to automate the process of enabling forging on each node. This should come shortly... Smiley
Once this last remaining feature is in place. I will be putting together a YouTube video showing how insanely easy & powerful it is to install and use CryptiKit.

Hope you like, Karmacoma24.

Guys, what do you think is a good sum for a faucet?

I hit the faucets every day.   I usually spend a few hours twice a day,  earning about .2BTC per month.  I could earn more, but I have filtered out the sites that dont pay at least 100 satoshi per visit.   The quality of faucets varies considerably as well as the time allowed between visits.

I recommend that the XCR faucet be profitable.  The revenue from advertisers needs to be greater than the dispense to a visitor.  But also, the dispense has to be enough to get return visits, but not so much as to get click-slammers.

I would recommend the XCR equivalent of 100 satoshi.  Since XCR is now selling at 1500 satoshi, you would need .00150000 XCR per dispense.  As for timing between dispenses, I would recommend starting with 6 or 8 hours.  That way each visitor can make 2 or 3 visits a day.

Faucet is also a good place to setup an explanation and advertising of forging.

So people will go to faucet, get some coins, play with it, read about the forging and, I hope, some of them will buy 1000XCR and setup their own nodes  Wink

@Litoshi: I think it's far to less. The faucet will be for users to test their wallet, not to earn money. (Which is far too time-consuming anyway)

@50cent_rapper: Yes, I think this is a good idea. I think I will create this once a good API doc is available. Something like a dynamic guide.

Now that it looks like we have a stable client, we are moving on to the next items on our priority list. That includes the 1-3 month roadmap items. We will be focusing on finishing the windows wallet ASAP, a block explorer, and custom block chains. A design team will be concurrently working on the re-brand and design while we work on those roadmap items, as well as another team that will be doing production of the "What is Crypti?" video.

We will also continue to make tweaks and improvements to the software and continue to optimize the size of the db. These will be constant development items and always a priority.

The purpose for a faucet is to earn money from the advertisers, who pay per view/visit.  If you offer too much coin for each visit. you will get click-slammed by the chinese prisoners.  If you dont know about the chinese prisoners, and what damage they do on the net, you may become a victim.  They are forced to play internet games and farm gold and credits that the guards sell for real money.  They are also used to farm the faucets for BTC and other coins.  Allowing visits by the same computer/IP too often and you will be drained of your coins with very little to show for it.

If you just want to attract new people to XCR, you can do that by offering them free XCR with a download of the windows wallet.   How you prevent multiple downloads by the same person is up to you.

XCR just given out to people (faucet or whatever else) means increased sell preassure, don't do it until demand for XCR is noticably up and stays up!

theres nothing here. message me if you want to put something here.
