Erf i just analyzed the situation a bit, no coin movement at all, all blocks are empty, thus forging seems pointless, windows forging or not...Custom blockchains are far ahead. Doesn't look good imo. I'm not watching the coin slowly dropping during 2 months...will get on my nerves.
The time to release a coin in beta state is over i guess, you need features and dynamic developpement, a big war machine...alt market is soooo saturated.
I still think this coin can be great but the upcoming weeks-months will be very painfull i guess.
Forging is great! I've forged some really nice blocks lately. This is just the beginning...

When devs promised to launch custom blockchains initially, in September?
Soon we will launch part of custom blockchains functional i think. All takes time, we collected 750 BTC, but we wan't to spend it in one year, we have long term project and we have budget. Last weeks we was looking for developers, R&D center, designers, had meeting in Moscow. About Windows client, i already sent it to test in our IRC. Guys tested it. It might be a good move to incentivize testing, as in you post wallet that must be tested and users do it then report in-depth reports. You pay them some money afterwards. If you want quality testing, you will have to pay for it. Not paying any money and then dealing with people who run into problems and can't explain in detail what happened and how to reproduce the bug is bad move, even big companies realised that so now many of them are paying money to professional (freelance) bug hunters. Almost all respectable applications in cryptoland went through paid bug hunting at least once - Bitcoin, Armory, Blockchain.info, Dice (gambling) websites, few online wallets, etc. We have a full time lead tester we hired (Sebastian) as well as a part time almost full time tester (Samsmith16) who is also working on it. Both are now part of our dev team and have a salary. We looked into some crowd sourced platforms other coins used but their devs said it was too hit or miss and costly. Can I be part time troll with some salary (not very big)? PS. Did you hire someone as PR manager? Fortunately for you, I'm the PR manager. So please direct all PR issues in regards to comments GreXX has made to me and I will address them.

The price of XCR on Cryptsy is now 1800 to buy. You must looking at Bter, where there is a dump happening in the last few days so purchases of Supernet and NODE could be made. As for Beta releases........ sure, Alpha releases are possible, but require a large investment up front if you are going to develop a unique and revolutionary system. You need to hire a team and pay them for 6 months. XCR was in dev for 3 months before anyone ever heard of it. If you are cloning a coin, its easy and cheap.... but never revolutionary.

Looking at the block explorer it seems to me BTER holds over 70% of XCR; this is the result of the absurd 1% withdrawal fee. God forbid they were to get hacked(already happened once), or run; XCR project would die. Shall we learn from the mistakes of the past, or be doomed to repeat them?

I also find this problematic - single points of failure should be avoided at all costs. People should withdraw into their own wallets now - now that the blockchain explorer is ready it will be easy to follow along with what is happening inside your own wallet without having to log in.

The 1% fee is the escrow management fee, as I have stated five times already in this thread. The amount of XCR at Bter will take a serious dive once the windows wallet/node is released this week. It is in testing, so barring any bugs, it will be out soon.

Block explorer is suberb I really like it. Next step is winwallet, redesign graphic, some advertising, custom blockchains and apps - I see a bright future! Just a little patience.

When is the windows wallet release exactly? Does it mean that if windows wallet is released, more exchanges will integrate XCR? Sorry but i have been out of touch from XCR. I'm still holding hundreds of thousands. Not selling anytime soon

I think all of us have to understand that it will take a lot of time and hard work to get Crypti going. But when its does it will be lets say FUN! In the meanwhile we can try to help and not only asking when and demanding new releases. I think devs should take as much time as needed and not to be pushed to hurry up. Like finding bugs in new software - i can help as much as i can for free ofcourse, if needed. Maybe open a thread in Cryptitalk for members.

Great job on block explorer, a few comments: 1. Could you set the decimal part of a listing to a standard length of 8 or so decimal places and trailing zeros so that all the decimal point lines up in a column? 2. Could you list the total number of accounts in the header along with "height" and "fee percent" etc? 3. Is there any discussion / interest about going to a Reed -Solomon type account number similar to NXT that would be XCR-ABCD-ABCD-ABCD-12345 format? That really does work better than a long unbroken numeric account number. 4. I presume the top account is Bter and the next largest account is the 15% "community fund"? Is this correct?

So please direct all PR issues in regards to comments GreXX has made to me and I will address them. Hi. I guess my question is if you are going to hire someone to do marketing? Because I see none at all. I am also a investor ready to buy, but I don't know what I am buying unless there is a code review. Also the marketing is abyssmal, keep in mind if you stay off this for too long you're going to kill your own project. I mean.. once you lose the communities interest it is hard to get it back. I don't see you try too hard to keep it or even gain it. I really want to invest because I like this project, but I can't seem to find that much to be excited about. I really hope you partner up with Storj or whatever it was I heard, something along those lines. You really need to do something to get people interested. For the people who believe in you I suggest you try harder and I suggest you start getting things done. Nobody is going to care about your custom made blockchains if there's too few who know about it. Then on the other hand everybody cares about the roadmap for (random coin). It doesn't matter if it is a shitcoin or what it is. People care because it excites them. A roadmap here wouldn't do anything. My point is... start to communicate with the community and start getting people and investors excited. Whether you like it or not, crypto is 99% community.
