I have also problem with NIS. Got error "NIS needs to be booted. Please open your wallet and boot a local node via the popup dialog or configure the auto-boot setting. (at block 11041)". What can I do to fix it?

So there aren't a lot of whales? NEM has no whales. Not true. Not true. There hasn't been enough sells at current prices to make that anywhere remotely possible. For somebody to get 5% of NEM (450 million) they would have to send the price skyrocketing. I didn't even mention the NXT AE assets which could have easily produced a couple of monster whales. Wrong thread bud, this ain't NxT's thread. I know CfB, after Svetlana left as he couldn't 'please her' (both sexually and beluga) is temporarily living on NEM's couch (thread) till the divorce proceedings conclude and that is where the confusion is. BTW there wasn't enough NEMstakes sold to create whales (plural). Sure there were, it was being sold for months. Some people were even paying $2,000 a stake for a while! Even if a lot of unique account IDs purchased NEM tokens, nobody knows for sure how many unique individuals hold how many accounts. I've had up to 20 separate wallets for many altcoins before as I am sure many others have as well.

The NXT AE at the time showed who had what. Even the most stealthily amasser wouldn't had come close to 5%. You fud with no proof and shift the burden of proof

People like you keep quoting me then I think its impolite not to reply. I almost always quote posts that I reply to. I hope we won't create an endless loop this way.

Severe: Majority of nodes on network down.
Some guys became upset with harvesting reward, at least in Russian NEM thread. I've heard there was a plan to incentivize node hosting, it's a good moment to launch it.

Same here. All my nodes(nis) shutdown. Something like this was in the last log, before the logs are looking fine. Can somebody explain how to fix 'NIS needs to be booted. Please open your wallet and boot a local node via the popup dialog or configure the auto-boot setting. (at block 11824)' ?
The whole client is a mess... i am getting tons of bugs
Please restart you NIS and NCC. New software with fix is up.

These links are dead.
Please wait for a while while the devs release the software. It was only downloadable for a while. In the mean time you can restart you NCC and NIS and boot your nodes. EDIT: Here is the working link - http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.6.26.zip

EDIT: Here is the working link - http://bob.nem.ninja/nis-ncc-0.6.26.zipAnd how exactly can i do that? When i right click on the nem icon @tray it just shows gibberish symbols (another bug), so i have no clue what to do really. If you've been using webstart version earlier: kill any running jawa/jawaws processes Go to java control panel, and hit "View..." (can be run with javaws -viewer) from "applications" remove both NCC and NIS to be sure check resources and clean them all (this will cause redownload of everything, which might take a bit, but should help with most of the problems) If you've been using installer, run uninstall (or remove via "Programs and Features") Remove whole c:\users\<username>\nem (or /home/<username>/nem) **NEM requires Java 8** Remember installer requires 64-bit java You can download java from official page: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
