You think we are already seeing a dead cat? I see some volume, are second phase redeemers selling off? This coin is a trap with no use, there has to be an explanation. I doubt we will see the dead cat until JULY when people finally realize this coin offers nothing and the developers lose steam, as I can tell they are already. The big announcements that came aside launch were anything but, and nothing on the radar about any product.

You think we are already there?

This coin is worthless yet it is worth your time to defame it? Either you're addicted to negativity or there is some other motive at play here.

You reak of fear.

Most dead cat bounces are a result of traders taking profit by covering short positions.

You can't short XEM on poloniex ... if 52 breaks then you can possibly say it's a dead cat bounce ...

Is password enough to access my accounts and funds or do I need to do some backups? Just in case, I want to reinstall the client.

Hi!

The password only protects your wallet from unwanted access. If you loose your wallet and don't have a backup of it or your keys (private keys), you'll lose the ability to access your XEM regardles of you knowing the password.

NEM client works differently than NXT client where your passphrase is used to create your private key.

Please make backup of your wallet and addressbook files. Here is tutorial where they are located and how to do it:
http://blog.nem.io/how-to-find-export-or-delete-your-wallet-and-address-book-file/

I use KeePass where I store other passwords as well and I also store my private keys there just for extra redundant layer of security.

If you have any questions about this procedures, please let us know.

I welcome you to join our official forum: https://forum.ournem.com where more help is easier to provide :-)

Have fun!

The first is Extended Redemption.
Pat is preparing the extended redemption portal and once it is ready, we will announce the process for extended redemption. People who have no redeemed yet will have until May 31st to redeem. Expect the extended redemption process to begin in 2-3 days. Stakes will be sent out in batches every 2 weeks or so, so just sit tight for now.

The second are sock puppet appeals.
People who think they were unfairly labeled sock accounts have until April 30th to contact Patmast3r and I on btt. We will process appeals and send out stakes to people in two batches, tentatively on April 19 and in early May.

The third are malformed addresses.
The following 8 accounts sent invalid NEM addresses when redeeming, so they need to redeem during the extended redemption period.

You will sent out stakes in 5 days and do not reply since over a week?  Shocked

Fear of what exactly Sigmund? I don't hold any alt AKA shitcoins anymore, just BTC. If you notice, my signature is blank, unlike the NEM trolls that plagued this forum for months. There were times when every shitcoin thread I checked in a single day had some NEM troll spouting off about how XYZ is a shitcoin and NEM is the best thing since shaved vaginas.

I just love giving people a taste of their own medicine.... and screwing around in Photoshop  Grin

Of course I do believe NEM will eventually collapse, just like 99% of all shitcoins. Sure there could very well be some more pumps, seeing as how the "new economy" is in reality exactly like the "old economy" - just a bunch of whales and computers trying to manipulate the price so that they can dump their bags of worthless crap onto some sucker for a higher price.

I'm using CarolMarcus but it sometimes restarts...
https://forum.ournem.com/vps-nodes/list-of-dedicated-vps-nodes-to-conect-nem/

As soon as I can I'll set up my own node. Either through some cheap/free VPS or with RPi.

One more question: is private key still enough to get my funds? I see it remains the same.

@Kolbas: the key is enough to access your funds. You have to import the account with your private key in NCC.
