There was NEM IPO 7 months ago. Now stakeholders trade their stakes on NXT AE, where all who didn't take part in the IPO can buy some NEM. After NEM software is released for live net, all owners of NEM asset on NXT AE will be able to send those assets to NEM developers' NXT account and NEM developers will send an equivalent amount of NEM coins to their live net NEM account.

Crypto currencies are completely unpredictable If you want to invest in NEM, at least buy a little bit now and wait to buy more later, that's what I did. If NEM goes down, you don't lose much. If it goes up, you still have some profits.

Yes I think it were 150 stakes that were to be auctioned. We're still planning on doing something like that but personally I'd like to see how many unclaimed stakes we have first.
Also we'd like to not only sell more stakes we want to get more and new people in. Maybe we can somewhow use the stakes to attract some of the miners (not by letting them mine for the stakes but by converting them).
Maybe we can use them to attract some completely non-crypto people via giveaways.
Could also use them to found 3rd party projects that'll aid the ecosystem.

Many possibilites but it'll prob be easier to decide once we have a number.

That's only a market cap of $4 billion. It isn't that much, really.

1 or 2 dollars is if we kind of overtake bitcoin and reach 4-8 billions marketcap, that is if NEM becomes major  

0.1-0,2 dollar if we overtake litecoin would give 400-800 millions marketcap, totally reachable if NEM delivers and community stays strong and innovative

It is possible that 20BTC/NEM in the end of 2014, and maybe it will be 50BTC/NEM (or more) in 2015.

You are a nemstakeholder. Not exactly one for the books as you weren't even sure but you're still on the list.
You can't get real NEM yet so unless oyu want to trade assets on the NXT AE there's nothing for you to do.
