Hello

I have a couple of S3+ and they've been running for a couple of month without problem.

I had a power outage earlier and after restarting both, they seem to hash fine but report 0 in best share... (well 1 does reports 9373, but the other 0)

Pool alive
638 accepted shares
Diff1# 178,352
DiffA# 163,328

Is there any way I can access the internal cgminer log using putty ?

Or should I just wait, they've been up 30mn.
But my U3 and compac sticks report their best share immediatly...

Ah well, after 50mn they both report best shares.
All is fine, I'm just surprised it took that long compared to my other miners...

It is a known bug with the S3, suggest updating to Kano's S3 cgminer release and it fixes that and other issues.

Well, that was painless, and well worth the effort.

Thank you very much kano, and since both the S3+ are on your pool, I hope we'll benefit from the upgrade ;p

I'm looking how to configure your computer to connect via a TCP / UDP port. But configure the firewall, and router with the same ports and addresses and ports remain blocked.

If do you have any information for configuration for the firewall o network.

Any suggestions accepted.

confused.. you shouldnt need to change anything on your network.. the port is 4028

if you mean from outside your network, then i wouldnt its risky.. id use teamviewer to control the miners from the internet.

Just to make sure I'm understanding right are you talking about accessing from outside or inside network? "But configure the firewall, and router with the same ports and addresses and ports remain blocked." That line has me confused to a point.

The thought of someone being able to get to my miner via outside my network does not excite me at all if that is what you mean.  There are bot's that crawl the internet all day logging devices.    I don't see a big advantage of being able to  configure via TCP/UDP port from outside vs using something like teamviewer that is already on your network and does not open device up to the world.

Screenshot of miner status page would clear things a little for me. What do you mean with scoring hash? Average hashrate on status page or pool side hash-rate?

I followed you link, right clicked the picture, and copied image location, then posted that link into image tags.

Google "free image host", you don't need to post it to facebook.  I like tinypict myself.  The free hosts will give you a direct link to the image which you can insert into the image tags in the forum.

It doesn't look like you are submitting shares to your pools properly (and those pool you are using are terrible for bitcoin, but that's another subject).  Make sure your pool settings are correct or maybe try a different pool...

I can't help with your problem, never seen behaviour like that. I leave this for wiser men. What does pool side hash-rate show? I'm pretty sure miner works right but something is missing from your fw package and stats are missing a bit or two.

poolside shows an alert to say its not hashing at all, thought it was a faulty s3 so bought a second and that's doing the exact same thing, and I have tried it on several pools and all the same including kanos`s pool

Do you have another location you can try them from?  Could it be something with your firewall that is preventing the miners from talking to the pool?  If you run a full node, can you try solo mining against your node?

Very strange problem, because they look like they are hashing just fine but not talking to the outside world.
