Just wondering if you guys are going to have a "Flippening" type of bet if/when ETH surpasses BTC marketcap?

I haven't searched your site but I am wondering if you are planning on introducing this type of instrument, I think it will be useful for most since it looks like they are pretty close.

Yes it's strange noone created that market yet.  You might have to do it yourself Smiley

I see you created this market in your other thread. No idea why there are 2 threads going for this site but oh, well.

However in that thread you created the bet to end on Aug 1st. Was wondering if you can create another market with a longer timeframe like the end of the year? Because Aug 1st is only 6 weeks away or so and its too short time frame for the flippening to happen.

The flippening has a higher chance of occuring during the 2MB hardfork period where many will move to ETH for security.

Waiting 40+ days for my withdrawall... today they want
"We do require a detailed signed  document documenting the source of the funds you deposited to Fairlay.

We also like to ask you to send in a passport / ID  and a proof of residency  within the next 48 hours to fairlay@protonmail.com

Best,

Team Fairlay"

My patience is over, I won't send any documents especially how can I prove the source of funds depositted?? I have used like 100 addresses which from I was depositting to them and it's impossible to find the one they sent and especially how to prove source of the funds??
I won't send any documents as well because I use btc to play anonymously - anyone expected similar problem? looks like they want to steal my funds (over 1 btc).

hmm this sounds like something done with large amounts because of money laundering concerns. Of course I don't speak for them but I think they're just trying to protect themselves in this situation. Do you mind saying how much you deposited? If it's for a relatively small amount, then it is indeed concerning. I too prefer btc for its convenience and anonymity and if this is a requirement for all withdrawals then it's pretty much a dealbreaker for me.

This is the first time we ever asked anyone for KYC documents.  This was not intended when we first started Fairlay, but our legal counsel strongly advised us to do it in this particular case.    There is very strong evidence, that the funds are coming from illegimate sources. We do not want to reveal too much details about it. Just note, that among other reasons the user deposited / withdrew funds  like 50 times without making any bet.

I was hoping that that player's comments was a troll, but it is disheartening to see that this is true.

It's fine that you don't want a particular user playing, but holding their funds hostage is not good. You should just cash them out and tell them that you don't want them using your platform again.

So the guy basically was using your website as a "free" mixer? Basically sent you some BTC and then a few hours later withdrew it to a different address?

Is that why you flagged the account or was it some of his deposit address which came from illegal sources like a Bitfinex account?

Well I've personally never had any issues with withdrawals. Processed in literally seconds with no questions/documents asked. But then again, I actually use the site to make bets and don't use it as a mixer which sounds like what this guy was doing.

Im kind of disappointed from your market maker lately. I have 2 issues:

1) Soccer 2 odds, 3 mins before the event, are staying in search, but market is empty when you open it. This makes betting on Soccer 2 on last minutes impossible.

2) Live betting odds are disapering for few minutes after any bet posted. This blocks the option to do a second bet on same live market for few minutes.

yeah soccer is always off the board 2-3 minutes before start. Don't understand it myself and it is a bit annoying but it's just a few minutes so not the worst thing in the world I guess.

Crypto gambling was intended for anonymous use. No questions asked.

But again the Platform cannot stay quite when their system is being abused.

So the proper thing would be to let the user withdraw and ban him from the platform rather than asking for his personal info.

yes but we all know it's not completely anonymous. And this guy wasn't even betting. Regardless, there's obviously a lot more in play here that neither side really wants to reveal so I'm just going to leave it at that.

Hello,
I have exactly said them the same - if You don't accept deposit/withdraw (instant) to other address just fix Your withdrawals to be done to the same address and I'm ok or pay me, ban me and I won't use Your service anymore.
How to prove the source of funds just tell me? And the address which You have sent me (1 of a 1000? which I used) which I cannot iven find... and I have to prove the source of funds there?? wow... impossible imo!
To the all: I have been betting with them like 50-100 btcs (estimating) and cashed out same without problems, last ones (deposits/withdrawals) was indeed without betting and was always to the new address as I never use same address twice... was hoping for surebets but their odds changed too fast and I cannot bet so I just withdraw. Finally I made 1 btc depo and withdraw same (20-30 times it worked) this time they banned and asked for something which i just CANNOT prove.

If you are surebetting, then why would you constantly deposit and withdrawal? Deposits take time to confirm so you're talking at least 10-20 minutes before you can actually use the btc. Arbs can be available for literally seconds so if that's what you're going for, it makes no sense to be constantly depositing and withdrawing instead of leaving the money in the account so it is quickly available to bet.

The total volume before April 15th was less than 14 BTC.

After April 15th the user sent more than 50 deposits to Fairlay while making only one bet. There is further strong evidence, that the user tried to use Fairlay for  illegimate purposes and this is why we requested KYC documents in order to not violate AML laws.

I had instant deposits and withdrawals here so why I would not do this if this is acceptable please tell me? You have instant withdrawal system then You say oh wait You have to play xxx before withdraw - OK now I see but locking me and telling me to prove source of the funds - what this really means?
@faita: now You know why... I don't want to have money on bitcoin sportsbook when they can anytime dissapear or lock account like they did anytime.
How can I prove the source of the funds? I don't know what are You talking about fairlay... iven if You say it's mixing anything it means just pay me lock me or do anything You want because I won't continue here for sure but I want just my deposit back - I accept it to be sent to the address which I have used to deposit.
Thanks

@fairlay any news? how can we fix that? I'm not gonna send ID or "detailed signed  document documenting the source of the funds you deposited to Fairlay" because something like this is impossible to show IMO.

Hello,
I'm experiencing the lack of the "Against" quotes for almost any football match. I'm talking about the outcomes for "Match" events.
This is not limited to minor events, but it's almost true for all football matches.
Any reason for this?
Tnx.
