Will we be credited with Bitcoin Gold? Or do we need to move our BTC and BCH to a wallet?

How about B2X?

Thanks!

SegWit2X will be supported. Bitcoin Gold seems insiginficant and we will most likely not support it. Please withdraw your BTC.
Hi Support,
Sorry to bother, but can you please confirm that all bets on Trump paid on January 1st will be settled and paid in BTC?
Thanks.

Confirmed.  S2X currently trades at 0.15BTC on bitfinex. So it seems like we will stay in BTC. We will make an official announcement at least 1 week before the S2X fork.

Your announcement might be overdue already then. I hope to hear something in the next 24 hours.

Yeah I really think you should adress the 2x situation now before it's too late. If you are considering to switch over from BTC I'm certain you are shooting yourselves in the leg.. but some companies have already said they'll make the switch so I guess we'll see what happens..

BTC-2X futures trade at 0.12 right now. Unless there is a huge shift we will stay in BTC-1X.

Deposits / Withdrawals will remain disabled from approx. November 15th to November 17th. Please do not send deposits  or initiate withdrawals during that period or you won't be eligible to receive your BTC-2X coins.   We will put an announcement on while payments are shut down.

That's a great way to approach this entire situation actually. Although if 2x would trade at a 2:1 rate to BTC  I still don't think it would make sense to just completely switch over.

Either way. Great for you guys!

A couple of key people just dropped their support for Bitcoin-2X. We welcome this decision though we encourage the community to find a solution to increase the blocksize in the near future.  We are not goint to support the 2X - HF anymore and  Deposits / Withdrawals will not be halted around November 16th.

Great news I believe.. For everyone involved. I think it could have turned out to be a complete shit show. But now we'll just continue with business as usual Smiley.

Good for you to stand up for what you believe in though! Props.

Overall a nice site, giving it a try.

Registered an account to lay bets, I am still yet to figure out how it works, but one thing is for sure, it is nothing like betfair. Liquidity is not bad for a bitcoin book, wish we could lay bets and trade live in play.

Actually Fairlay has lots of similarities to Betfair  Wink

You can lay bets by clicking at the purple colored odds (with the standard setting it is displayed
as a win percentage instead of American odds or decimal odds, but you can change it in the settings) and picking the Maker/Taker option on the left.

If you want to convert back/lay odds (I assume you are familiar with these terms as you already seem to know Betfair?) you can use a calculator like this
if you are too lazy to calculate it manually:
https://www.wettforum.info/misc/lay_back.html

Live bets are also possible and you can find them at:
https://fairlay.com/markets/live/

However, I would advise you to bet against the existing liquidity provided by the market makers as it is really hard to get matched in play with your own orders.
The user base is simply not big enough for live trading at the moment and spread out across too many different time zones.
This advice only applies to in play markets, otherwise getting your orders matched works pretty well if you offer better prices than the
existing market makers.

@Samarkand  @Hhampuz  Thanks.

There is just one thing to add: If you go to any market page and place a lay bet we convert the odds for you and display them as "offered odds". So no need to use an external calculator.

I am surprised this isn't solved yet.

I remember you bring this up last September or so.

Basically from what I recall you sent them ID and they assumed it was fake, and they asked you to go on a webcam and show your face to  your ID, you said you didn't have a webcam and they refused to let you withdraw money.

My guess is since its almost $7200 a coin, just buy a webcam and get your identity verified.

Hmm.. Does it say in their ToS that they can at any time freeze an acccount if they deem the source of the money illegal? Not sure why they'd act like a bank and be like that.. Show source of funds Tongue. You are a betting site, not Goliath National Bank Cheesy.

Sorry for you betg.. Hoepfully it'll be resolved sooner rather than later.

Start a scam accusation thread here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

List all the proof and details you have of your claim and certainly it won't take long until they get red tags from DT members
This will be a big impact on their business and you'll probably get your withdrawal.

Looking for a signature campaign.

Maybe someone could help me out here?

I made my first payout request here at Fairlay and at the top of the screen... it said payout would be initiated within a few minutes. I clicked the statement button and it made the payout but quickly redeposited the same amount back into my account. Furthermore, when I click on "Deposits" or "Cashouts" I get this error message "We got an error report and will fix this bug as soon as possible."

I also emailed customer support and no response. Does anyone know what's going on? Thank you.

Have you read the header message at Fairlay?

Quote
Bitcoin Withdrawals are currently disabled due to severe congestion of the network.

Due to the size of the mempool (currently roughly 110k transactions, yesterday it even peaked at roughly 170k) transactions
are either taking a long time or are very expensive in terms of transactions fees. Therefore Fairlay temporarily
decided to halt all withdrawals. The situation should improve in the next 24-48 hours, because the average time
between broadcasted bitcoin blocks has stabilized.
