Okay as far as I can find our current hashrate is 750GH/s someone please correct me if I am wrong. Also as far as I know the last div before this one was Oct 7.
At the current difficulty this hashrate would produce about 0.53318557 BTC Per Day 3.73229898 BTC Per Week 16.20884127 BTC Per Month
At the last difficulty which started on Nov 17 it would produce about 0.61885251 BTC Per Day 4.33196758 BTC Per Week 18.81311635 BTC Per Month
At the difficulty that started on Nov 05 it would produce about 0.73822262 BTC Per Day 5.16755831 BTC Per Week 22.44196750 BTC Per Month
At the difficulty that started on Oct 26 it would produce about 0.96483017 BTC Per Day 6.75381116 BTC Per Week 29.33083704 BTC Per Month
At the difficulty that started on Oct 16 it would produce about 1.40880039 BTC Per Day 9.86160271 BTC Per Week 42.82753178 BTC Per Month At the difficulty that started on Oct 06 it would produce about 1.99269547 BTC Per Day 13.94886829 BTC Per Week 60.57794227 BTC Per Month
From Oct 7 to the 16 using 1.98 Per day we would of made about 17.82 Bitcoin From Oct 16 to the 26 using 1.40 per day we would of made about 12.6 Bitcoin giving us about 30.42 Bitcoins From Oct 26 to Nov 5 using 0.96 per day we would of made about 9.6 Bitcoin giving us about 40.02 Bitcoins From Nov 5 to Nov 17 using 0.73 Per day we would of made about 8.76 Bitcoin giving us about 48.78 Bitcoins From Nov 17 to Nov 28 using 0.62 per day we would of made about 6.82 Bitcoin giving us about 55.6
DO YOU SEE MY PROBLEM!! My best guess is Garr Fucked up the decimal maybe?

is it possible to use cointerra rigs to mine other sha-256 altcoins?
i'm guessing we would have considerable % of total hashing power if we did?
Yes it is, I have done this with FPGAs before is it possible to mergemine all the altcoins together? or is this already being done?

Why are we even talking about merge-mining when we have discrepancies with the calculations from the current operation?
This seems like a high priority vs maybe alt coin mining.

Garr can you address these calculations?
Sure thing. The calculations being used here can only estimate the output of a given mining rig + pool combination. It turns out that our pool has had a bad luck streak for a good while and we have since switched to mineb.tc which is proving to be a bit more reliable, with more consistent payouts. We should see output much closer to these calculations with the coming dividends. Cheers, Garrett

So over the last two months our luck has been so bad that we produced 1/5 the estimated bitcoin we should of produced?

Correct. Usually Cognitive can solo mine consistently enough to make sizable payouts, but it was an unlucky few weeks and I have changed the pool strategy accordingly.

Isn't joining a larger pool like GHash.IO or slush or something better?

How can we follow along with the mining statistics and take a look at the mining address/reserve fund address?
Edit...you were solo mining with 700GH? That doesn't sound feasible nor realistic...

I have a Jupiter (about 700 GH/s) at btcguild... It gave 0.63 btc the last 24 hours... never under 0.55... If it paid less, i would change strategy within a week... not months...

Yeah, this is a little bit ridiculous. We really need more visibility into what is happening with Cognitive.
Mining statistics and earnings should be posted to the web site on a regular basis. Right now we just have to cross our fingers and hope Garrett isn't keeping excess profits for himself.

Garrett, Could you please post a log file or some other sort of output that displays Cognitive's hash rate and mining output for the last two months?

How about providing the payout address for Cognitive in order to prove your claims? And maybe address my f*cking issues with the PT??

I visited someone today who wants to make a fluid-submersed alt-coin miner, and it looks quite awesome. He did it with ASICminer blades and it works really well. Expect to see a motion tomorrow morning! PS. $0.08/kwh for electricity
I am glad you know about fluid-submersing technology. If you become successful in building submerged-altcoin-mining-rig effectively, we can expect to conquer the world really soon. I'll buy tons of share if you can do it.

I second this - we need to see Cognitive's payout address.

mineb.tc has been closed now, so where are we mining now?
I have to say i have been running much more than 1TH for the last month, at one point 5TH/s and i do not even attempt to solo mine, what was going through your head at this point? lets gamble with share holders investment?
