Looks like the vulnerability only happens when a protocol update is taking place and enforcement on the Masternodes are turned off.

Which in my eyes means we can still go ahead with launch and await a fix or hold on launching and look to fix or await a fix.

Communities call.

Wait !!

Am I missing Silkcoin wallet upgrade?

Negative.

I am the developer of DarkSilk and until the release candidate is finalised, the DarkSilk thread will not be started.

Updates on the code work and wallet progression have been posted here and once the code is final, the thread for DarkSilk will start.

Silkcoin will not die.

To get back at the logo's / imagery.

Maybe it's good to have something that is easily reproduced in different forms. Like:

Concentrating on an aspect of an object

Or using polygons

Maybe combining the two.

Silk and Polygons seem to be paradoxical! Polygons are in complete opposition with the smoothness of Silk, but if you think Silk as the fabric of time/space or code it's all vector i.e. polygons. While focusing on a specific part keeps things simple and distinguished.  Grin

I'm definitely liking the use of an animal/insect.  The scorpion would be badass.  I'm not too big of a fan of the D logo.  Looks too much like copying Dash.

The idea I had was to use the scorpion for Silk, use a thunderbird/phoenix for DarkSilk because of the burning/transformation.

To go way over the top we could use also a double headed eagle for the Weaver holding both Silk & DarkSilk.  Roll Eyes

I like this concept.

I also would like to see the three logos vectored and looking PRO. Not like something slapped up on MSPaint :p

(Not that this is in any way, and I am not pointing fingers)

After speaking with Dash it appears that the Masternode vulnerability is FUD made up by the HEXX developer.

For communication between buyer and seller on the DarkSilk Marketplace and for general communication over the network I will be adding messaging from Shadow (ShadowChat) which I am sure you are all familiar with.

I have been working on getting ShadowChat into the wallet.

Hard bloody work as my codebase is different from Silkcoins and working off the Silkcoin GitHub has been, well, let's say fun, lol.

About to commit the work.
