Been doing some other little changes/edits as I go too Cheesy

Been working alongside Rynomster getting messaging sorted and the null pointer issue has now been eliminated as I have brought darksilkgui.cpp in line with the current Blackcoin code from Rat4.

EDIT: OK so we are error free in terms of any errors in the debug and Rynomster has some updates he will be pushing soon to GitHub for messaging which I will be implementing.

Missing status icons from overview.cpp are fixed  but I still need to implement the latest updates from ShadowChat.

The DarkSilkMarket needs looking at still to ensure its full functionality.

Will keep you all updated Wink

If anyone wants to build a Windows wallet for the Windows users amongst the community, they are more than welcome to.

ATM I am really busy getting the actual code sorted for DarkSilk that I don't have time to concentrate on getting my Windows build environment sorted out.

I am sure there are many users who wish to try out the wallet in its current state to test out mining, Stormnodes, SandStorm, messaging, marketplace and more...

Is this coin somewhat related with SilkRoads ?? No offence ! Just asking  Grin

It has no link to the Silkroad Marketplace. No offense taken Wink

It will have its own decentralised marketplace (DarkSilkMarket) within the wallet, void of ownership or control from any human or outside (centralised) person or authority.

Currently setting up the first test Stormnode with Rynomster from Shadow. Time to play Cheesy

Have been debating a high collateral amount for Stormnode setups i.e. 42,000DRKSLK

Do not want a network saturated in Stormnodes, also people with Stormnodes benefiting from the network should be people who have invested in the network.

Simples.

Yes guides and other such material will be made available upon launch.

Also this handy update script to update your Stormnode to the latest version using a .tar.gz binary of DarkSilk Cheesy

Code:
#!/bin/sh
echo "########### This script will update the Stormnode"
sleep 5
VERSION=64
URL=$1
FILE=${URL##*/}
DIR=${FILE%.tar.gz}
IP=$(hostname -I)
wget $URL
tar xzvf $FILE
echo "########### Stopping the Stormnode"
./darksilkd stop
sleep 7
rm darksilkd
cp $DIR/bin/$VERSION/darksilkd .
chmod 755 darksilkd
rm $FILE
rm -rf $DIR
rm .darksilk/peers.dat
echo "########### Restarting the updated Stormnode"
sleep 30
./darksilkd
sleep 15
./darksilkd getinfo
sleep 20
echo "########### Stormnode status - Active: 1, Inactive: 0"
./darksilkd stormnode list | grep $IP
