a week ago there was like 1.3m ask side and now its down to 700k
if someone wanted to buy 300k+ really cheap without moving market that was the time
try buying 300k now and see how high you have to buy up.
well got 100k for like 1700 sats so i'm not complaining

well you could use proper decimal units too = microxbt :
1700 sats = 17 uxbt if i'm not mistaken
but people get so confused when they have no baseline "smallest" whole unit

this is how it looks like with the new numbers (old subsidy easing started at block 5 256 000)
(next halving is in about 4 months)

I don't think a reduction to 23M VIA has taken place. This is what Drak wrote some weeks ago.

In theory since auxpow removes mining competition (between competing coins) it shouldn't have any ill effects on mining security.
I dont want to be drawn into any economic discussions and FWIW I don't agree with changing the subsidy personally.
They did it with the doge so I guess that's why it's been suggested here.
