I am confused and want to ask the OP this
if this game is based on social gambling then please elaborate how is it determined when to bust the round? sometimes it just bust at 0.00x sometimes it goes upto 25x..so my question if this is social gambling then how you guys determine when to bust the round or is it just luck based and random?

Have a look at this page, it explains everything pretty clearly.

Social because everyone bets on the same thing.
Social because everyone picks their own bust point.
Social because it's fun.

The "social" aspect, is just that everyone plays on the same game. In many ways it's a bit of a gimmick, but it's also a lot of fun (when you get destroyed, odds are there are many people are sharing your misery) or when someone makes a fortuen, you could've made it too. (Or if you make a killing, everyone else could of too).

But then we added some pvp aspects by rewarding you for cashing out after other people, but before the bust.

However, people playing have absolutely no impact on the results. In short, we generated 10 million outcomes in advance (weeks before anyone was playing) from a provably fair distribution, then we've proven we've committed to it and now, are playing through those games. And after each game, give you the sha256 preimage of the last, to show we're not cheating.

In my (extremely biased) opinion, it's quite a fun and well designed game. The house edge is quite a bit lower than most sites, so your money lasts a while and the bonus system makes it a lot more multi-dimensional than most gambling. If you create an account, PM me your username and I'll send you a few bits to screw around with =)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

I really love this game and the community around it. I havent tried the forum yet but why do you have to give the correct information. Just use a fake name and address and write it down for later use.

I'm not sure what forum you mean? Some people won some physical prizes, and in order to claim it they need to provide an address to ship it to. Of course, it's completely optional and you're free to ship it to any friend or family you like  (but please don't give fake details, it's just wasteful and creates more work for everyone)

We need to see the problem on many perspective, not just from single perspective (example: just from player preview).

If you ever created the game or websites, surely you'll need "the correct information" from your customers or users.

What is the purpose of claiming the silver wallet if you are going to give a fake address to ship it to? lol

I just want to volunteer... If anyone wins the silver coin and doesn't want to give their real information, tell Ryan you're passing the prize to me and I'll do it, :p.

Well, all the coins are given out! Big thanks to mitchell who organized the whole thing. Next big promo will be when we hit 200,000 btc wagered! (I'll run some bonus-bots again) so stay tuned =)

Edit: Correction: There's still 2 more to go!

Current contests
1.  The first person to bet 1BTC (1,000,000 bits) and have it bust at 0x wins a non-numbered Design 1 coin. (0.990099% chance)
3.  The first person to get half of the max profit (currently 5.26BTC) wins a numbered Design 1 /w Gold coin. (18.494302%)

Wow, whitetuxpeng is making a huge comeback! In the last couple of hours, he's recovered 72 of his bitcoins! And claimed the remaining two silverwallet prizes (Giving him a total of 2 gold ones, and a silver one)

His net loss was more than 100 btc just 7 hours ago (https://www.bustabit.com/user/whitetuxpeng?p=830), and now he has recovered all of them and has a 5 btc profit lol. This is just crazy!

BTW, let's see if your theory in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1020726.msg12613128#msg12613128 still holds this time hehe.

Can anyone good with math figure out what are the chances of someone even doing this? Right on the dot? Like come on, that is BS.. Seriously seems like some sort of exploit was used.

I'm not really sure that's calculable. There are millions of patterns of events that are "wow wtf". e.g. it crashing at  1.23, then 4.56, then 7.89, so even though each might have a 1 in a million chance of happening, there's so many that it's almost certain one of them will happen.

I thought the reason it blew up was because the max. win had been hit. Does it not explode the rocket when that happens?

Nah, if the max-profit is hit everyone is cashed out at that point (which is earlier than they like) but doesn't affect the actual game bust. He just got super, super lucky Cheesy

Ahh, cool. I think a neat promo next time (like with the coins) would be to do something along the lines of "first person to bet at least 10k bits and cash out at the exact bust point above 3.00x"

I think the chance any individual game crashing at exactly crash point c is:

    ((c - 0.99)/c - (c - 1)/(c - 0.01)) * 100/101 : for non-zero c, and
    1/101 : for zero c

So the chance of any individual game crashing at exactly 8.16x is 0.000147389, or 1 in 6784.75

... but he didn't play just one game. If you play enough times eventually you're going to cash out right at the crash point I guess.

That's the chance of blowing up at a certain point, but it ignores the chance of him happening to also choose the same point (based on his other bets, he wasn't waiting that long).

Well, as the player has complete control of what they want to cashout at, so it's pretty difficult to assign a probability to it. =)

Hah, Ryan! Maybe add an option where people can bet where they think the crashpoint will be exactly. Or maybe ranges of crashpoints.

Like: Bet 50 bit that the crash point will be between 1.00 and 1.09. If that happens you get 10x(?) your bet = 500 bits.
If you bet that it will exactly crash at 1.00, you get 99x your bet.

Would be a fun game Smiley Could go crazy on the multipliers though, as you could bet it will crash at exactly 504.94 or something, which has a probability of almost zero.
