So im guessing your steam items skins which you wanna bet gets converted into coins.

What are 'skins'? Can I buy them with the $5 in my account? Or do I have to buy and play a steam game first, and somehow find the skins in-game?

go to steammarket an buy any item, but you won't be able to use it for gambling. you will need to enable 2FA and then wait 7 days untilyou can send it away.

There are sources that claim it's bigger than "cryptocurrency gambling" (and by looking at "self-claimed $ stats" of some sites, they do look pretty big.)

Yeah, I suspect it is. I think csgocrash is only a ~month old and has already double the amount of users as bustabit (which is ~1.5 years old), they have *way* more users and players online at once. And that's with a much higher min bet, and running with a significantly increased house edge  (2-3%) from bustabit's (0-1%). Their stats also show they've made ~250k USD (?!) so there seem to be a lot of money in it.

That said, they seem quite competent at advertising; while I've done virtually zero.

On a side note, because of csgocrash I've got a lot of new csgo players on bustabit -- so it's worked out very well for me as well =)

Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

Yeah, I suspect it is.

http://www.bloomberg.com/features/2016-virtual-guns-counterstrike-gambling/ says:

Quote
By one estimate, more than 3 million people wagered $2.3 billion worth of skins on the outcome of e-sports matches in 2015

but also:

Quote
The gambling sites run on software built by Valve, and whenever CS:GO skins are sold, the game maker collects 15 percent of the money

Is that saying that Valve takes a 15% cut of every deposit and withdrawal? If so, I don't see why it's so popular. Who would be willing to pay a 15% fee each way?

I've never played csgo or used steam, so I might be wrong; but I believe this refers only to the official steam market (which gives you money on your steam amount). As I understand it, you can trade and send items for free, which is why 3rd party sites are so popular. So if you avoid the official market, you don't need to pay a commission on transfers (and steam still makes their money by selling items in the first place).

(this is all second hand knowledge from bustabit's chat, so don't fault me if I'm totally wrong)

You got it right. Item trades are free -- commission is only paid to Valve on items that are sold through the "Steam Marketplace" for "Steam Cash." It's also worth noting that you can trade items at any time, without restriction. You can only use "Steam Marketplace" when you have bought something from the shop (using cash/Steam Cash) within the last 12 months.

There is something called variance in gambling. Bustabit is provably fair, and you should read up on how it works. It would be extremely risky for bustabit to rig bets, since people are betting together, and chances are one person will check it and find something wrong and almost no one would play there. Also, check their stats - they are still in profit by 100+ Bitcoin.

taking a break - expect delayed responses

I think http://rollincoin.com  with provably fair 100% better than it shit Wink
I won about 1btc yesterday!
I have proof!

Spamming threads of other gambling sites and calling them shit is definitely a good way to advertise. Everyone reading your post should now find that rollincoin site professional and trustworthy. /sarcasm

The in game csgo skins economy is hugh. Skins have real dollar value according to their artificial rarity in game.
There are thousands of sites to bet or gamble skins.
Also if you sell on the steam market it costs you 15%-12%. But to transfer p2p costs nothing.
A second thing to note is that the sites profit is in skins and in order to
Liquidate skins on 3rd party market you sell them around 75% give or take, so their reported profits is lower.

I have no issue loading bustabit and logging in my account, so the problem is definitely on your end only. Have you tried clearing your cache or doing a force refresh? Also, make sure you have not mistyped the URL.

No issues here either...the site loads nearly instantaneously for me when clicking on it in the Google search results. I even tried clearing my cache and loading it in incognito mode, still came up just fine.

I tried it as well, and by going through a search engine (google). Maybe it is a problem on your end or maybe you clicked on a fake bustabit from google ads.
