Welcome! As the king of XBC I fully approve of Substrata's design. Without a doubt in my mind this where we should be heading logo wise. Any objections in the realm???
Ey Substrata..........can you humor me and do it in the colors of the current BTC scheme? Just want to see what it looks in comparison. I think the black, red and white is super great........maybe it'll be to dark of a tone for consumers though. We'll all find the right color scheme soon.
Not sure what you mean with "do it in the colors of the current BTC scheme" so mess with colors yourself, if I start messing with color palette I know there will be no end to it! http://inkscape.org/en/download/http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Orbitronhttps://www.sendspace.com/file/bqbvgl <--- vector files, click on "Click here to start download from sendspace" and make sure you have Orbitron font installed before loading files.

Good job SubStrata. The red, black, and white one looks sweet. I just sent you 0.01579681 BTC to help cover some of the node rental by the way.
Looking into IRC... Seriouscoins is showing up as the founder for #XBC (he can do anything he wants in the channel). The other members who have operator access aren't around (and mindfox very little). This is what I got as far as access rights go...
-> *chanserv* access #xbc list -ChanServ- Entry Nickname/Host Flags -ChanServ- ----- ---------------------- ----- -ChanServ- 1 Seriouscoins +AFORfiorstv [modified 21 weeks, 0 days, 12:48:03 ago] -ChanServ- 2 deadlyonetwo3 +Oo [modified 20 weeks, 1 day, 08:14:27 ago] -ChanServ- 3 SRHSoulja +O [modified 19 weeks, 2 days, 16:14:09 ago] -ChanServ- 4 mindfox +OV [modified 16 weeks, 4 days, 22:32:38 ago] -ChanServ- 5 tf2honeybadger +O [modified 18 weeks, 6 days, 18:02:22 ago] -ChanServ- 6 seven30 +O [modified 18 weeks, 0 days, 04:18:16 ago] -ChanServ- 7 Coinerz +O [modified 18 weeks, 0 days, 00:49:56 ago] -ChanServ- 8 XBClionWork +O [modified 18 weeks, 0 days, 00:49:35 ago] -ChanServ- 9 Crunk51 +V [modified 18 weeks, 0 days, 00:49:05 ago] -ChanServ- 10 BlackMarketKarma +V [modified 17 weeks, 5 days, 17:00:48 ago] -ChanServ- 11 WolfOfXBC +O [modified 16 weeks, 5 days, 01:01:56 ago] -ChanServ- 12 Selsonblue +O [modified 16 weeks, 4 days, 22:32:48 ago] -ChanServ- 13 CryptoBey +O [modified 16 weeks, 3 days, 13:21:25 ago] -ChanServ- 14 Syyyn +V [modified 16 weeks, 0 days, 12:45:40 ago] -ChanServ- ----- ---------------------- ----- -ChanServ- End of #xbc FLAGS listing.
Some of these guys could come back and do some damage to the XBC channel if we do not regain control. Strata suggested switching to the #bitcoinplus channel, but I found that serious coins already founded and registered that channel as well. There are no other operators on the #bitcoinplus channel, so there less of a chance of someone coming back and doing some damage. What is the general consensus? Should we use #XBC, #bitcoinplus, or create another channel with new access rights?

I suggested switching to #bitcoinplus mostly because that is brand name, XBC is just ticker. No clues about IRC beside occassional usage over web. Who is Seriouscoins anyway? Thanks for node donations but unless we find someone who can help ranochigo with compiling the deal will be canceled.

Thanks for node donations but unless we find someone who can help ranochigo with compiling the deal will be canceled. Seriouscoins was the lead dev when the coin was launched (again) earlier this year. He disappeared from the scene a few months ago. Wish I could help ragochigo. It's a little out of my skillset.

Seriouscoin is not on my good ledger as of right now. I trusted him when the first dev ran off, he made promises........then ran off and started DCM(Digital Commerce coin or some rather). I couldn't believe the second team could pull thievery........they also did not pay Mindfox for his services too. That is pretty messed up.
But...........THAT is all history. Better to have dealt with that than have it happen when XBC becomes King of the Coins. Our aim is true and I can't thank the team enough for kickin some ass already. CHUP.

Thanks for the help ranochigo. I signed up www.bitcoinplus.org for full hosting service. The ads have been taken down, but there are still some changes pending in DNS. The website will be intermittent during the next few hours while the dns changes propagate. Everything should be back to normal within 24hrs. Domains registrations for bitcoinplus.org and .net were $10 for 1yr, and hosting is roughly $72 for the year. I have received .0308 BTC as donations for the domain and hosting so far. If you want to contribute my XBC and BTC addresses are below. BTC: 1QH2hYow6QcYR3AQUe2dMdCtPiqyxGsfrL XBC: BStkCkm4T8tjMQwDvAHHqHy5kFkZgW9o7u

I have found out the problems in compiling of the nodes and I'll fix all of them within 8hours as I'm outside right now.
All 3 nodes are up and running now, IPs are: 192.3.158.40 192.3.158.75 192.3.172.216 BTC payment to 192fqgb5aCKrjNkudGqSWR6Nuu4J8tEMB7 done, check https://blockchain.info/tx/c0bcccbdb65e36d18710ef400e91631567d4c4f98465c625a0f9c3146f62af7cSteps to connect to new nodes and possibly some nodes you are usualy not connected to (whatever the reasons for that might be): 1. Shutdown your bitcoinplus wallet. 2. Payment confirmed. Thanks What was the issue with compiling anyway? Could you post what exactly you have done to make it all work, for future reference? Yesterday, I tried to do it on Ubuntu and it didn't work using this tutorial https://github.com/BitcoinPlus-org/bitcoinplus/blob/master/src/makefile.unix. I tried it again on debain and it didn't work too. I began to search around the internet for help and didn't manage to find any. I realised that since this is a POS coin, the POW compiling may not work. I went to see this and modified it a bit to make it compatible for BitcoinPlus, which is the commands and it worked.

I didn't know bitcoinplus can be traded at BTC-Market, check https://btc-market.org/?Pair=XBC_BTC - can someone confirm that exchange is legit? Did anyone deposited coins there, traded and attempted to withdraw coins? I'll do an in-depth check on that later, out of time right now.

On a new logo matters, below one might fit bitcoinplus the best - orange is associated with Bitcoin and green is associated with PoS. Some other green might work even better. Also note that letter b no longer shares color with + but is the same color as plate (coin background), that should make + visualy stand out more and also solves issue with plate color not being represented at coin itself (that might be a problem in cases like wallet icon).

Block minted at 11:11 has 11 confirmations (3x 11) with 13 connections and 39 more blocks for minted coins to become spendable (3x number of connections), that must be a sign! Ok GrounBEEF here..........runnin the XBC mothership jus...for a lil bit. I recently payed a kat named "pollforall" .15 btc to complete block explorers and possible rich list. JJMV and Substrata, feel free to contact him and query him on the technical side of things. It's just GrounBEEF's time to throw down and help ya heard? Much love yall........from the XBC PlusBus mothership......(funk music fades out).

Who is that guy? I hope you have not paid to someone who will host blockchain explorer for a month and then vanish like it is the case with many new "developers" around lately. BTW, you might want to add bitcoinplus signature to your main profile. It could be you might need more posts (activity?) for everything to work properly, it seems forum unlocks complexity of signature gradualy - it was done that way to prevent noobs adding distractive signatures (many colors, big font sizes, etc.) as soon as they joined this forum. To my surprise, while I was messing with my own signature today I found out that Orbitron font is supported on this forum - is that one more sign or what? A miracle! Hallelujah! [font=Orbitron][size=12pt][url=https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=714606.0][color=black]bitcoin[/color][color=red]plus[/color][/url][/size][/font]

11:11 you say? That's GrounBEEF's number...............hmmmm. Cosmology is making it's way into XBC you say? I had a dream once..........I was playing a lotto scratcher.....and I was playing one of those ten dollar ones. The clock said 11:11.......the winning number I had to match was 11..........I hit the number 11.......won a million dollars.......then I woke up. This sign....................I WILL TAKE IT!!!
