Books are having problems because of Covid-19. It's best to only play at "A" and "B" rated books at this time.

I could say there is a relevant rating thing going on that I am not sure how to really explain properly. I want to talk about three sportsbooks that I have used during this past one month period (well I used more but all others are fine here in the rankings) and they are all somehow connected to each other on the rankings. I have used stake, fortunejack and sportsbet.
Now I know that you do not like sportsbet.io too much and removed them from the list (I think it was due to fiat acceptance right?) but I can say that I had nothing but great time there and never encountered any problem at all, they are quite decent in my book, would still prefer nitrogen any day of the week, nitrogen is far better, but if they were to be ranked I would give them B- here which isn't half bad.
On the other topic, stake and fortunejack should change places imo, stake hasn't been doing this sportsbook thing that properly whereas fortunejack has been pretty decent, and before any of this corona started they were even better and the gap was even bigger between them.

fullhdpixel, you're right in that sportsbet isn't in the guide because they accept fiat currencies. There are just too many books accepting fiat. Thanks for your report on Stake and FJ. I'm going to make some more deposits and hopefully withdrawals at FJ. If everything goes smooth, a bump may be needed.

Nitrogen is the first bitcoin book to have sims under specials, Madden 20 and NBA2k. If you see another book with sims, please post. Feel free to post anything unique because of the lack of sports.

Nitrogen which is highly ranked here and I would highly rank myself as well, is having some sort of trouble with some scam accusation right now, maybe you might want to check that out as well. I do not believe in the accusation and I think they are still as legit as it gets and I would still rank them the highest, however we also shouldn't ignore the fact that right now their topic is flagged, their account is flagged, there is a scam accusation topic for them as well, there are even 5-6 people who signed the trust negging as well.
Not like anything will came out of it, basically it is only bad for bitcointalk to show nitrogen as a risky place and not nitrogent itself since people still do trust them and find the accusation silly. You making a comment on the situation would make it even better.

coinfinger - thanks for bringing this to our attention. Both good and bad is needed. I'll definitely read the complaint. I cannot contact Nitrogen unless the player sends me a PM giving me permission to look into his account. edit- Fortunately this case has just been resolved to the player's satisfaction. It's in the player's scam accusation thread.

Without major sports it's best to stick with the top books. Right now it's more or less table tennis, esports and sims. Some books won't survive. Top books: "A" rated booksnitrogensports.eu A+ (2013) betcoin.ag A (2013) "B"rated booksmBet.io B (2017) Horse racing. betbtc.co B- (2014) bitcoinrush.io B- (2013)

So has anyone read about any crypto sportsbook forced to shutdown because of Coronavirus? I know most bookies turned to esports and with all kinds of sports filling up those virtual domains, I guess most gamblers chose to spend their money on e-offerings. Research shows actually online gambling went up during this period from Asgam: "5% increase in group Net Gaming Revenue (NGR) and 16% increase in online NGR for the period between 1 January to 23 February 2020".

I haven't heard about any bitcoin sportsbook shutting down, most of the sportsbooks also have casino games so I doubt they'll go down that quick. Last month when there's not a lot of matches to bet on except for esports and simulations there's still a few sportsbook that continued to operate since horse racing and table tennis events are still going strong despite of the coronavirus.

The newer books are the ones that scare me. The ones in business for years seem to adapt. Esports are getting more popular and sims are starting to boom.

hey peeps , have you considered started checking books that are offered by dapps ? a lot of them offer bitcoin betting or planning to do so in the future I honestly started to like these sites more than bitcoin sites even tho the odds might be worse most of the times but they have no KYC and they won't limit you ( even if they did limit the account you can simply just start using another wallet address )
also for readers do you know any site that tracks new dapps when they launch ? currently I only follow TRX sites so would be interesting if there is a source giving info about dapps who have sportsbetting across all the blockchains dapp radar and the other sites I know usually just tell you if the dapps belong to gambling or not , but they rarely specify if they offer sports or not

Hi SyGambler, I haven't looked into the dapps yet. Can you post a couple of the sites so that I can start doing some research. Thanks

there are a couple now like wink.org (TRX) and sportbet.one (EOS) many were planning to add sports in Q1 this year but due to the recent situation and sports pause they are delaying it , so maybe in the next couple of months we will have more sites for readers please let me know if there are other sites that I'm not aware of
