Hashlet prime never get obsolete They adjusts to remain profitable which mean that gaw can e.g double your hashrate or sohow is this so difficult to understand This is called a 'fairytale'. IF there is an investment that is continuously profitable, why would anyone choose to share the returns with others? Think about it. I speculate GAW will let the Prime hashlets ROI (@$16 and $20 price points) to increase sales of their unprofitable miners (solos, genesis, etc). Hi all. I can see on this thread people are talking about ROI. I will not participate to the troll about "gaw" is real or not . So far , I have income according to the plan, and I have no proof than something is wrong. But since everything is relative ("thanks Albert ;-) "), ROI compare to what ?? BTC ?? dollars ?? euros ?? yen ?? All this is a bet than bitcoin adoption will increase .... I found this : [Suspicious link removed]j.com/articles/with-a-bitcoin-etf-risk-isn-t-virtual-1410120108 You will notice than the article is not coming from the specialized cryptocoin press . If you're mining bitcoin or altcoin , just as a financial operation (I do it also because it's anoying banks and politics) , the only way you gonna make profit is if we all put pressure for bitcoin adoption .

Is there proof they are actually doing any real mining?
Digital miner getting upgraded on the fly sounds like a badly written scifi movie.
No, they are not performing any mining that is anywhere comparative to the amount of hashpower they sold. It's virtual. Yet the income is real Doesn't make any sense at all. Why is anyone even investing? Because GAW takes advantage of uneducated people. Memcid thought u were given 250mh to be quiet?

lolz, you guys are questioning whether GAW is legit after they bought Zenminer for $8m and Bitcoin.com for $1m wakey wakey... +1 +2 dont understand why there is so much anger here
Oh, this is an easy one. If you look closely you'll notice that the anger comes from maybe 3 or 4 people. One of them is a trolling douche, who admitted to be a sockpuppet account and has at least 1 more newbie account he uses to troll GAW. His other account said he owns his own mine, and probably is jealous of the profits GAW has. At least 2 or 3 guys got angry because they were banned on hashtalk.

I don't think so. I'd say that it'll take them more than 2 months to bring this to the public. Although it was promised from the start. Or maybe they never will.

New pet peeve - micro-announcements in each board. Users are probably going to get peeved, since they are now forced to go to resellers, as well as buy Primes at an elevated price point. Unfortunately, it makes jumping ship all that more difficult to do.

Thank you guys for the heads up, I'll just add the official announcements for reference. There was no announcement of the price increase though, none that I could find anyway. Prime hashlet is now $49.95. https://hashtalk.org/topic/4549/project-prime-is-almost-hereProject Prime is almost here! To our customers:
Project Prime is coming soon :grinning:
The date has now been set, and everything is being finalized. If you think Hashlets changed things, we are just getting started!
For all those about to ask. Hashlets and Hashpoints are a large part of prime. So you don't need to buy anything new to take advantage.
We will announce the date this week.
To hardware suppliers and resellers:
Enjoy your last few weeks :grinning: https://hashtalk.org/topic/4651/logic-behind-price-changeLogic behind Price Change Outside of the obvious things, I wanted to provide some reasoning behind changing the price of Hashlet Primes.
As you guys know, it is difficult for us to disclose our future plans because of how our competitors react to us. I discuss that here:
"About every reseller, hardware company, and cloud provider in the world are starting to copy us. concepts, technology, strategy. Even marketing and naming (hashnest?)
We have to play things close or we risk getting copied"
But, I at least want to shed some light on what I can tell you. Primes come at an incredible risk to us. You are able to choose any scrypt pool we support. Meaning that there is a possibility that the pool may just skyrocket in payouts, for whatever reason, and you will get the upside of that (like we saw with nicehash)
Plus, we are about to support SHA mining. So you will get the upside of those pools too.
So think of it like this: the more options you have, the less risk you have (which moves the risk to us). So we need lots of hardware on hand to cover ourselves.
The fact that you have so many options, means it would take the entire industry collapsing for it to make them ineffective. So they are the safest miners you can buy!
Additionally, the market is changing. I discuss this here: Hardware cost is going up as pools are stabilizing.
We want to to limit their sales. They are meant to more exclusive product.
It is more difficult to do some of the things we want to do with too many out there.
No other Hashlets changed price. https://hashtalk.org/topic/4634/private-hashlet-sales-are-bannedPrivate Hashlet sales are banned Hashlets are the greatest miners in the world. You know it, but scammers know it too.
In the interest of protecting our customers from the increasing spread of fraud, we are banning all private sales of Hashlets.
Please be advised that we will no longer accept request to transfer Hashlets between account. Any users caught selling hashlets risk account suspension.
The safety of our customers is our number one concern.

I find this part especially amusing: Primes come at an incredible risk to us. You are able to choose any scrypt pool we support. Meaning that there is a possibility that the pool may just skyrocket in payouts, for whatever reason, and you will get the upside of that (like we saw with nicehash) It wouldn't be any risk at all if you actually mined on said pools, would it? What was the official reason for not doing that? ZenPool is so much better? After careful review, we've decided pointing our hashing power to these pools is counterproductive for our goal of promoting stability in this industry. Instead, we will be sending our hashing power to our own private pools, but keeping your payouts 100% based on the pool you select. This effectively gives you access to your favorite pools, but now with nearly perfect uptime.

What bullshit. You. Not GAW. They clearly stated theyre bringing a marketplace for individuals to trade on the site shortly. And its not illegal. Someone was scammed for 28 BTC. So they stopped trades from happening until they release the supported marketplace.

They wont transfer them until this Friday when they announce the market/whatever else they are announcing...as been pre-announced essentially. Oh well, I already hit my ROI and doubled my initial investment thanks to selling off some of my stuff earlier. Now it's just additional income.

They are trying to reduce sales atm which doesn't jive with ponzi, right?

GAW would be dumb to do so. They're bringing in a ton of cash, via Credit Cards even. If they turn out to be Ponzi-ing everyone then lots of crap will be coming down legally within the US. Looking at long jailtime if that happens. Really doubt a Ponzi scheme is happening.

So they stopped trades from happening until they release the supported marketplace. Sure, not illegal. Against their "rules." If you violate that, then they will seize your account. I agree GAW should have a much better system for trades, but it sure works out for GAW that now people have to pay $20/MH.
