That is little for Ethereum farming? Shocked
And all this time I thought a 4 card rig was small. That looks to be atleast 264 cards going all at once in rack formation. I got to get my priorities in check if I ever want to get into this eventually because I keep putting it off.  Embarrassed

Thanks guys. I'm actually more concerned about the noise it produces. I have a friend of mine, who nails egg trays on the walls to reduce the noise. Have anyone tried this?

much better is to make a shallow frame from scrap wood, line the back with screen, pack rock wool or fiberglass in the frame, cover front with screen. or, use fabric instead of screen, depends on how pretty you want em.

instant sound absorbing panels. slap em everywhere around the machines. dont need 100% coverage, even 25 - 50% will drop dbs.

HVAC ductboard works as well,1 1/2 inch (thin as 1 inch) thick cut to size (or any shape) & 45 degree the edges (if you want) & spray glue & adhere whatever fabric you want on em  Cool

You can put a wood frame around or leave em bare  Wink

The silver side goes against the wall with velcro or screws or glue.

I'm curious to see some pictures of those mining rigs.  Share your pictures of your rig and then details of build and mhash/sec.  Let's get a frame of reference up here with some visuals.

I'm a gamer so this is an older gaming rig (2+ years old now)

A single 4890 that produces 100 mhash.  Bitcoin mining will help me justify putting together a tri or quad video card setup relatively soon.

That first msg on the thread back from 2011 and this forum member is still jr rank I'm wondering what happened to him and stayed jr he left the Btc shipp to early ? That will be sad..
Anyhow I love to watch mining rigs ! It reminds me back then when I was mining.. sigh..!!

I have an update on my ghetto garage heater rig.  Now its using 1900-1950 watts at the wall, its on a dedicated 20 amp breaker 120v.  So that is maxed out.  I installed a 15 amp dedicated circuit, so i'll be able to overclock more and fill another 1400w or so.  My house is 100amp total so...yeah at some point the whole thing will trip if the water heater is on at the same time as the fridge Smiley

LOL... this brings a smile to my morning coffee...

I have NOT posted here for a long time since its a "Bitcoin thread only" -- too bad I cant share my journey to build my GPU farm here - learnt many things from members though - so thanks guys for helping me.

Only 30% of my mining is from GPUs, the rest are all hard core ASICS Bitcoin mining - but 100% will land in my BTC wallet.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

Bitcoin Forum > Bitcoin > Mining > Hardware > Pictures of your mining rigs!

Mikestang's right. If all the posts are about non-bitcoin mining hardware I'll just close the thread. You can start one in altcoin mining.
