Hi All!

I have a rig ( xilence 1000w 8 plus bronze psu, purepower 730w 80 plus bronze psu, asrock h61 tc pro motherboard, 5x r9 270x gpus) and this morning the motherboard ignited...after 1.5 year.
The rig is running on ethos.
Do you have any experience with this motherboard?

Played with: USB RedFury - BlackArrows Prospero X1/X3 - Butterfly Monarch- Spondoolies SP20E - Avalon 6 - Antminer U3/S3/S3+/C1/S5/S7 Batches 3-7-8 - Sfards SF100 - Innosilicon A2 Terminator - Alcheminer 96/256 - KNC Titan - Etherum Rigs

What it used to be :

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1pT04MB3X0aVTJWN1JiYTVJNVk

What it's become :

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1pT04MB3X0adl9jalpSdXg5Rkk

4 480 8gb at stock settings and 1 470 Nitro OC 8gb (2000mhz memory stock), each pulling from 24 to 25mhs/s, total power usage is 760w + 40w for a basic desk fan on speed 3. Probably waiting for the 2nd hand market to add a 6th card as I'm damn broke now !

@carlosmnk you should add a desktop fan on front of each rig now if you're not allready doing it, I had a few days arround 35°C, my fans are fixed 65 or 70% and the temps never got higher than 75°C, now it's back to 25°C outside and temps are all below 60°C.

PSU is evga 1300g2, mobo h81 and running ethos, the 2 cards with lbc stickers are from my friend who now has my 7950 rig, we're doing some kind of card hosting on each others rigs (480s and 7950s don't go too well together)

You can poke arround the folder ( https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1pT04MB3X0aOVYtQUNaUi1DTUU ) I have some more miner porn and stuff I did with asics (and stuff I'm selling/have sold)

Cheers,
Q.

Antminer S1 is still me favorite Antminer.

s1's were great reliable miners , im still partial to the 12 s2's i still have running to this day they have been on 24/7/365 for a long long time , only reapirs on them have been regular cleaning and a few psu fans have needed replaced

that being said all my s1/s2/s3 miners have been the most trouble free miners i have ever had , seems like quality started to take a turn at the s4

I agree with the S2! I had only the 2x front case fans replaced since one of them failed.
I used 2x Arctic F14 PWM and saved 1x original fan as a spare part. I sold it few months ago to a guy in Helsinki.
Here are some pics in memory of my Ant S2 (batch 4) the day before it was sold (click for bigger pictures):

Ant S1 still going strong with the 3D printed frame parts
(I made them for fun and for possible boards of sidehack's community miner project):

I have to put it to sleep again though when I receive my new S9.
It's just pointed as a lottery ticket to the solo.ckpool.

Great looking not that it matters now and probably not then since the S1's didn't run too hot but those corsair fans were the static pressure fans, SP120? They didn't push much air but worked great for tunnel systems but since these were open unlike the S3 I don't think they were the best choice. (Although it probably didn't matter since they looked great and the S1 wasn't much of a power hog)
